Tom Cruise.

I don't think it's going to be a big bomb or fail, I just don't think it's going to be "huge." It'll probably do the same kind of business Batman and Mr. and Mrs. Smith did opening weekend. It's going to be competing with lots of movies when it opens next week and with less people going to the movies, so many "big" movies are going to have people split, imo.

Now exactly why do we all care what Tom Cruise does with his life?

I suppose people are getting sick of Cruise, but everyone knows that War Of The Worlds is out soon because of it, and that can only be a good thing.

Mr & Mrs Smith actually exceeded expectations and gave both Jolie and Pitt the biggest opening of their careers. It's a decent movie, but a lot of that was down to all the publicity leading up to the release.
Batman Begins didn't do quite as well as expected, but still opened with $72.9 million (for its five-day gross - it opened on a Wednesday). That's still pretty impressive. All the press Holmes garnered didn't really affect that movie in a positive or negative way I think, because no one is going to see Batman to see the love interest.

I think all the signs are good for WOTW but of couse I could be wrong.

I'm seeing it this week, so I may well change my mind!

I have to say I totally forgot Kidman was in Batman Forever. Tom Cruise obviously likes Batman's chicks.

Why do we babble about anything here ?

Why are we all spending so much time posting stuff on the internet, period ?

We all have too much time on our hands and can't keep our big yaps shut about anything, that's why ! :blob2:

Whatever, you're obviously impervious to his charms, and any good performance he might lay down.
I don't think that dude has ever given a good performance. Like I said before, it's always TOM CRUISE as {insert role here}.

I hate you.
That's awesome...... :xoxo:

Precious is right. He really grosses me out. He just screams self-denial. Mainly because he's always screaming about how straight he is.

Secure straight guys don't care about whether or not someone thinks they are gay. They don't file lawsuits about it, either.

A lot of people insinuated Justin Timberlake was gay. His response? That would be cool, but I'm not.Did anyone see him on the talk show circuit screaming about how much in love he was with Cameron Diaz?? He was on the cover of The Advocate for ****s sake. Could anyone here ever visualize Tom Cruise allowing himself to be on the cover of a gay magazine? Not.

Wake up and smell the ****ing coffee people. Tommy's actions warrant the gossip.
