As for the leash, I think the answer is: the dog. :p

Her ears look better in colour then? ;)

Maybe she finds if she has more than one dog out at a time on a leash, they take her for a walk. So, they have to go in intervals.

Maybe she's got one of those leads that does for two dogs

I hope so :)

She's really looking good in these pictures. It's very wise of her to stay away from voluntary trips to the hospital, which is what cosmetic surgery would be.
She looks healthy and fit, which I think is wonderful. Yes, she looks her age, but who doesn't?

I hope she still plays the piano at home. It would be wonderful to hear some new music from her, especially if it's bluesy barrelhouse piano stuff.

I cannot comment on the village politics but the initial article that started this thread reads just like some attention grabbing scribe with no sense of taste and not much politeness wrote it.

I will be the first to admit that every time I leave my apartment, even if it's just to run downstairs to grab a cup of coffee to go, I do feel like I need to pull myself together before I walk out the door. I don't know if it's a New York thing, or if it's just a Me thing, but considering all of the people walking around outside on the street, and the probability of running into acquaintances, I just feel like I have to put my best foot forward every time I go out. I dread the thought of being out somewhere looking a hot mess, and running into someone I haven't seen in a long time, and making them wonder whether I have completely lost it. I'm far, far, far (did I say far?) from being a beauty pageant contestant, but I do try to make the best of the bad hand I was dealt.

Okay, I understand why Stevie and Christine look so (relatively) rough when they are off-stage. Surely there is a lot of work involved to get stage/camera-ready. But in Christine's case, she seems to almost go out of her way to look dowdy. It doesn't mean that she is any less of a person or that she is a menace to society. But if she gets pissed off when she sees unflattering pictures of herself in the tabloids, she has to take some of the responsibility for that.

I think that's probably the difference between an urban and a more suburban person. I know if I lived in Manhattan I'd probably be like you and be super guarded about the way I looked... but for those of us in less densely populated areas, it's so much easier and nicer just to walk our pups while looking like total ass. There's a certain satisfaction to it, even. I mean, I live barely 2 miles from 60+ story buildings, but I can get away with walking my pup without having to see a single person. I'm even known to take my dog out only wearing my skivvies in the wee hours. Christine is in a far, far more rural area than me even... so I give her total allowance to look like whatever she wants.

Hmmm the quality doesn't look any better, it just looks blown up. See how it's all pixel-y? Yeah.
I wish there were a GOOD recent picture of her. One where she wasn't caught off guard outside or anything, I mean. I'd really love to know how she looks these days.

Hilarious. Good eye. And we know Christine's dog has been spayed.
