LOL...Oh, so I guess Mark Burnett and the other Emmy winning producers of the real Survivor are a bunch of idiots, then. Because that is exactly how they do it! It makes perfect sense to look at all rounds...it shows what has been voted most throughout the entire game. It makes less sense to look at only one previous round.

I was surprised to see such a huge switch from voting off BC to OO. And what's even stranger are that people are still voting off TEFM. It's already gone! :lol: :wavey:

As much as I respect Jacob's role as Jeff Probst, he cannot change votes. BC and TEFM were tied with 13 votes apiece. To break the tie, all votes from previous rounds were tallied and TEFM had more. Therefore TEFM was booted, leaving BC in the game. Hawkeye then gave his immunity to BC. If someone has a different take on this with a vote count, I'd be happy to abide. :wavey:

Jacob, don't give up! I want to see who wins! But yes the way you are running it - by having people tell you whether or not BC should stay after it's been voted off - is pretty bogus. If you want, we can do that round over.

Or, we can start a new one, with clearly stated rules! A new Tusk one, please. We can't leave it unfinished. If you want I could start a new one for you.

Let's try to come up with a compromise which could suit both warring factions :)

Let's have a "Beautiful Child" vs "That's Enough For Me" round to decide which song gets to stay in the game and resume once the results are tallied and the offender has been eliminated. How does that sound?

Another suggestion would be to completely forget about immunity. So far it has only created mass confusion and disputes. Let the songs stand on their own strength without any crutches :)

Jacob, I really think we should finish this game. How about dropping Immunity for the rest of the game, because, as far as I can tell, has been the MAJOR reason for the confusion here(even though I won two of them! :sorry: ) The only other suggestion I would have would be for you to make a QUICK call when there's a tie. It's hard to vote when we don't know what's still in the pool.

If you are having second thoughts about the ruling you made on BC, I can understand, but you cannot change rules constantly and put songs back in that were already voted out.

Let's cut the crap, and pick up where we left off. Far as I can tell, based on your ruling, BC is out. Also, Over and Over is out because that was the vote as of 9 p.m. yesterday. You were too late in telling us the round would last two days, so any votes cast today should be thrown out. It's the only fair way to handle this.

At 9 p.m. today, the game should resume. By that I mean, it should go forward, not backward with retroactive decisions.

What I'm beginning to suspect here is that some people, and I'm afraid you included, Jacob, are beginning to realize that Stevie's songs don't have a chance of going all the way in this game. And these folks just can't stand it! This board has always been extremely biased in favor of Stevie, and if this game is cancelled or her songs are brought back in unfairly after getting thrown out, it will be undeniable proof of the bias. Tusk is Lindsey's album, and if he wins, that is as it should be. If one of his songs doesn't win, that better be as a result of a fair game, not the hanky panky you're trying to pull.

Jacob, I just defended you vehemently last night for handling this whole game fairly, and I know it hasn't been easy, so please don't prove me wrong now.

I was one of the people who actually bothered to tally the votes to find out he had made a mistake. Did you? BC is out. I can only imagine playing over last round 'cause the choice for immunity was unclear. I'd say, jacob, type the immunity-question, wait for the first reply, confirm which song has immunity and call it a day until you have to count again. No prob, huh?

I suggest that the winner of the immunity challenge must, in the SAME POST as his answer, declare his choice for immunity. Hawkeye's wait (and Homer's change in an earlier round) are unacceptable.

If you're too lazy to scroll back and reread my posts on that, I'm not in the habit of playing into sloth. ;)
