You know, the Jersey shore has the worse smell out of all the beaches i've ever been to. It's just...bleeech

I believe it was salad dressing. I don't think you and I have ever stayed on topic in a single thread

Actually, Glaveston and Port Aransas down here are nothing to brag about. I haven't made it to Corpus Christi yet.

Remind me, which Jersey shores did you go to? Mine were mainly Atlantic City and Ventnor and later Wildwood for Senior Week.

When I was little we went to Ocean City a lot and a few times to Wildwood (that place is disgusting except for the Crest). I believe I also stayed in Stone Harbor once. Primarily, we went to Ocean City, Maryland. I've never been to LBI or anything up north in NJ. Have you?

I've been to the beach & rides at Ocean City NJ. My experience with north Jersey is limited to one college roommate from there and one lost road trip through there, as I have told you.

Well excuuuuuse me :p

I like Morey's Pier in Wildwood as far as rides are concerned. Ocean City has OK rides. I've not been on rides at the shore in quite some time.

I remember Atlantic City's Steel Pier and my favorite, the Million Dollar Pier. I loved that place & hated when they tour it down to put up that cruise ship shaped mall with all the dreck for sale.

I've never really understood the necessity for a mall on every boardwalk in NJ. We have a plethora of malls away from the beach. Do we really need them at the beach as well?

I guess they make money, and they're an alternative to the casinoes on rainy days, but why can't they be nice malls?

If you build it, they will shop. Clearly, it doesn't have to be nice.

Doesn't even have to involve shopping. Do you know Philly has a Mummers' Museum?

Yea, because i'm sure I even want to see them on New Years Day. I detest the Mummers Parade. A museum is NOT necessary.

I am rather interested in going to the new National Constitution Center that opened up last July. I have to do that soon but I'll most likely need to drag an unwilling and uninterested particpant so I don't have to go on my own

A group of friends and I are planning to hit museums every week this summer. And this fall the Dead Sea Scrolls are coming to the Museum Of Natural Science here. That I'm looking forward to.

That's really awesome. So I take it there are a ton of museums in Houston then?

I hate Trader Joe's and I hate Whole Foods even more.

Whenever I go to Trader Joe's, they always have crappy cheap wine and really weird foodstuffs- which I buy and then never eat.

Whole Foods is so f**king full of snobby vegetarians!! Can't STAND it!!!
