Well all I know is, whatever song has immunity, it's not the cursed Save Me A Place, so this delegate from the Show-Me State casts her vote for the elimination and annhilation of Save Me A Place.

Jacob, could we get a round by round breakdown of those votes. I've got a hunch, and a strong one, that TEFM received more past round votes than BC.

I also move that voting in this round is suspended until we get an "official" count on this. ;) :laugh:

Sorry, dude, Jacob recounted, and so did three other people, myself included. We all reached the same conclusion: tie vote. Jacob has ruled Beautiful Child is out. Time to move on.

But Johnny, it WAS miscounted! You know I'm not like that. I did the same thing for Sara. Hmm, why is it my favorites always leave under shady circumstances? :( Edit: I see TEFM is staying! :blob2: :blob2:

From an outsider's point of view, this is the most confusing thing since the last North American presidential election, with the miscounted votes in Florida. Believe me: for people outside the USA it was just a huge mess. This was a mess, too... just reading the edited Jacob post, seeing that "Beautiful Child" left, and then reading three pages of discussion about why it should leave, instead of "That's Enough For Me", which apparently had left... even though I had read that it hadn't... oh well.

Just from an outsider's point of view... this was a HUGE mess. :D

OK...I don't mean to start any controversy, but I have to speak my mind.

In reading what Jacob wrote, I really think that he meant to say that That's Enough For Me had more past votes. I say that because I don't think he would have said that it "has been officially changed" if Beautiful Child would still be the one to go. In that case, there would have been nothing to change.

ALSO, I think it has been proven that in previous Survivor threads we have looked at past votes from ALL previous rounds.

Well, I've gone back and counted the votes from all previous rounds and here are the results:

So unless the rules have changed suddenly, it looks like TEFM is gone.

Don't mean to start trouble, but I just had to point this out.

He said "it has been officially changed" because when he miscounted, he had said TEFM was gone. So clearly, when he did the recount and realized he'd made a mistake, he posted again to set things straight. Why would he say there was a change if he wanted to say that TEFM was still gone? What you're suggesting doesn't make one iota of sense.

If that were the case, then don't you think the guy who's been running this thing and has actually made the rules would know that? Clearly that is not how he has made these rulings in the past, otherwise he would have done so this time as well. Taking all previous votes into account, as opposed to the previous round would make no sense. As I pointed out before, if you take all previous votes, you are allowing individuals to vote more than once to break the tie. That wouldn't pass the smell test.

Let's just accept Jacob's ruling and move on. Why bring this game to a halt yet again?

I just thought it was funny that it seems controversy only erupts whenever one of Lindsey's songs is voted off (excepting the initial controversry when "Sara" was unceremoniously ousted).

Personally though, I thought the votes in ALL rounds (excepting the one that was discounted) were supposed to be included in a tie-breaker. Not just the votes posted in the previous round of this newest thread.

So, as Joe pointed out, that would eliminate "That's Enough For Me," not "Beautiful Child."

Personally, I don't want to see either go... I love both. :shrug:
