Silver Springs should have won if nothing else. That performance was superb and I don't think the other nominations come close. I can't believe that Hanson was nominated.

They were never going to win for The Dance. All of their nominations were for songs written 20 years earlier. Even the hit Silver Springs. The bigger crime is that Stevie never won for any of her solo nominations, especially for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

And that James Taylor won instead. I like his music but that album was so much like everything else he did. Paula Cole should've won for This Fire.
