OK, I was working off the FMLegacy GOS tour page... they don't have ISA listed in the setlists. But I checked my 3 year old NYC review (at my livejournal) and I did note ISA there. So... I don't know, lol.

yeah, my understanding is he was doing both ISA and Come on GOS tour.

to be frank, as we discussed many times, i'd change a lot in his current setlist to better fit my taste, but that doesn't detract from the fact SWS tour has a great setlist - a lot of it due to the fact that new SWS songs are so great and fit so nicely the way they were incorporated in the set.

but yeah, he should do 3+ hr sets like Bruce in order to make me happy - a bit under 2 hr LB show is way too short - that's why i had to see so many:laugh:

and, GOS and UTS are represented with some of my least favorite songs from these 2 albums, plus while i love TIO from OOTC, AMS is not exactly on my list of favorites. and original GOS/SYW songs are so strong but NONE of them are in the current setlist... i can go on and on

The "academic" setlist planning would probably be too difficult with a 3 hour show. :D:angel:

I think my original point was that he at least has more variety across tours than Stevie does... even if it's not always the songs we'd pick for him to do.

Easy setlist help for LB: For OOTC: Drop AMS. Add almost anything else. Keep TIO. For GOS: Drop Treason. Add anything besides TPT and DYMM. For UTS: Drop UTS, keep SUD. Add Down On Rodeo. Anything after that, I'll leave up to him.

Yeah, I didn't have anything at all written in my review besides the fact that he DID ISA... I think it got overshadowed by Come since they were so close together.

i'm with you on every single one of these points / choices  - except my first choice to add from UTS would be Try for the Sun :)

Yeah, but he'd probably want to do Try for the Sun as another solo acoustic piece (unless he's up for teaching some tricky guitar parts to Neale and Brett)... which would put it front of set instead of mid-set. Down On Rodeo can work as a band song and fit where UTS is now.

And if we're talking actual first choices from albums, then he's doing Shuffle Riff and Twist Of Fate from GOS. :D

I will never understand why this is the ONLY FM song (other than the occasional EO17) they will EVER play on the radio...

Because it was the only N.1
so the question is why this was the only Number 1 FM song?? That's what I don't get

As I recall, radio's playlists aren't exclusively airing only number one songs. While it's surprising that Fleetwood Mac hasn't charted any other number one songs, so what? Their songs are a far more durable/memorable than many long forgotten number one songs. And consider that many of their album tracks that weren't ever singles are staples on radio and in stores, doctors' offices and supermarkets everywhere! lol

i'm not sure i understand what you all are talking about. Second Hand News is played constantly on both classic rock stations and as background music on tv shows and it was never even a single or charted anywhere.

Well, as far as what I was talking about, NYC radio has seemingly all but abandoned playing FM most of the time. (Q104 used to play them all the time; now I never hear anything.) So, the only FM songs I ever hear are Dreams on the lite stations and the occasional Dance Landslide. I haven't heard SHN on the radio in years.

Used to hear: SHN, Monday Morning, The Chain, SYLM, GYOW, Little Lies occasionally, Rhiannon a lot, even Don't Stop used to be played more than it is now. EO17 still gets played very occasionally. Silver Springs was played like crazy when The Dance came out. Oh, and Gypsy gets played on the lite stations about once a month.

I should try watching more TV.

Wimpiest song ever. Talk about running to hear something with balls after that.

I couldn't agree with you more. This is my least favorite FM song.
