This gave me chills. I was completely shocked when she went for that high note.

Since I am goinmg to meet Mick Fleetwood in Ottawa I think I will ask him
about Seven Wonders and SOTM. Who knows maybe they will ressurect them by the time the tour is over.

Silver Springs

I think that version of Silver Springs was the best, vocally, that she's done at least since The Dance tour. I'm glad she did the "never get away, never get away, never get away."

Hopefully as the tour progresses and she loosens up, as she usually does, she'll not only sing it with force, but sing it AT Lindsey, that always makes for some entertainment.

Yes please ask him about seven wonders and then stress to him the importance of adding in SOTM and while your at it tell him we want a new album after the tour, HA! :)

I was pleasantly surprised, actually. Gave me chills. Not sure why. :p

I like "Gold & Braid" better, I think.

goldustsongbird 03-02-2009 05:21 PM

That wasn't bad. She really hit her stride near the end. The first half was nasal and off-key (sometimes!) It sounded like she was just getting the feel of the song, so hopefully she'll figure it out. 5:00 - the end was right on.

At least she got Sara right.

word.

I liked it (and it wasn't a trainwreck, imo) for the simple fact that it was something new and it's one of my favs, but I deffo didn't love it.

I think if she keeps it, it will get better as the tour progresses. Opening night is usually always awkward for her.
