Cool description! It actually is one of those songs that make you feel like that. And the beauty of it is that it's like that every single time it 's on my mp3player shuffle.
But what I love about that song is the way Stevie described it on the Tusc doc - how it makes her feel like an old dance hall girl - and the way she dances to it .
Before seeing that, the song didn't make much sense to me.
Now I feel like I can explain every single line of the song. Even though I know it's not possible.:angel:

I felt that way about the song for a while. But it grew on me big time after watching Stevie perform it live. It's still not one of my favorite Stevie songs but it is a fun song to sing and dance too. The other FM "Angel" is good too.

OMG rarely do I "Hate" a Stevie song...I may dislike a song but not hate. But I seriously cannot listen to THM. It is the only song on "Bella Donna" I NEVER warmed up to. SDMHA comes in second place with least favorite BD songs but even that one has grown on me. Sorry to THM fans :sorry: But I guess yall can get me back with "Empire State." I love that song but most people hate it.

The Highwayman I think is at the bottom of the list, it's just so bland!
Empire State is quirky and kinda charming when I'm in the mood. ;)
