I know! Poor Chris never stands a chance, even when she has some of the best songs on the album. Over My Head? Say You Love Me? World Turning? I mean, c'mon. But I'm grateful that I'm So Afraid is gone, so I'll shut up.

love the song, but the BN version is far superior. the FM version sounds like christine's keyboard is strangling lindsey's manhood - hence the whipped, even higher pitched vocals.

You know I think you're right...but I think something's strangling Lindsey's manhood on the BN version, too. Come to think of it, there simply isn't a version of this song that I don't see as flawed. Stevie's solo version isn't perfect, either. There must be something about me and this song. :shrug:

What is this manhood and Crystal bull****? :laugh: It's I'm So Afraid where it sounds like his balls are being tweaked. That sucker is painful to listen to because it sounds like it hurts.

Far superior? It's almost the same, IMO. I mean, I think the BN version is better, but far superior is an overstatement. I would say "almost the same, but BN is a little better" :D

isn't that exacly what it's supposed to sound? It's so vulnerable that it's spinecringing. You say here why it's so brilliant and it should have been here in stead of MM or Crystal.

I got to strongly disagree about Crystal being even remotely better on BN then it is here. I think on the White Album it is MUCH better. The last 2 minutes of the song is heavenly. Mick, Chris and John really did that song wonders and on the white album Crystal is 40 times better. Lindsey and Stevie sing the song better too.

OK, Stevie's swept this album, But I kind have to think Lindsyes still in it, because I can't help but consider Crystal his song too. It's hard to seperate a song from its singer, despite Stvie writing it.
