Was Miss Stevie quite pissed when the drunk chick tried to pull Liddy off the stage? I seem to remember a review from one of the SYW shows where Stevie appeared highly agitated by the drunken antics of one lady. (not overseas when someone yelled "you're no Peter Green" at him and Stevie supposedly flapped said person the bird) (did she really do that or is that one of those Mac myths?)
It is interesting because even though Stevie appears to being looking over the front row and does not interact with the fans down there nearly as much as LB..she ALWAYS seems to know what is going on. She is watching out of the corner of her eye or something! She knows what is up~

I'm not going to Vegas. I proposed to my boyfriend this weekend...on the grounds that we got married in Vegas in May. :D He didn't fall for that one....I got shot down!

:nod: I agree completely. And being a student, disposable cash is hard to come by. If they're not going to change it up, I can't justify the expenditure.

That's why it makes me mad that I missed David Bowie when he played Austin. I found out after the fact that he changes up the setlist every night! Ugh. I have a feeling though that this won't be his last tour. I think a lot of people thought that this might be the Mac's last outing so they oversaturated themselves. Totally understandable! If I had had the money, I would have been at the Boston DVD taping show no doubt about it!

Personally, I don't foresee Fleetwood Mac ever touring again, but that's just one blokes opinion. I think we might get one more studio album in about five years, but not much else. The Boston show (the 24th) was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, though. The crowd and the band were in overdrive. I was *exhausted* when it was over.

I always try to catch as many Bowie shows as possible (same with Blondie). :nod: The Heathen tour was my favorite because he played the entire Low and Heathen albums at one of the shows I went to, then played the entire Heathen album with a bunch of different songs at another show. His live shows kick ass. I mean, I have a bootleg from last June where he actually plays Lyzza Jane and The Supermen! :eek:

I think you're talking about the Machester show. Pip was there, so she'd be more detailed, but I believe the problem was that there was a fight in the front row. Lindsey stopped playing, yelled something to the effect of "get the f*ck out of our concert", and they got mad and flipped him off as they were "escorted" out. Stevie flipped them the bird right back.

You are getting married and seeing Stevie? Maybe the ledgies should crash the wedding?!? :eek: (Or atleast help Elvis sing Blue Hawaii. You ARE getting the Elvis marriage ceremony aren't you?) :D

I was at the other Manchester show so missed all the action. My friend was there though and rang me right after. Stevie was seriously pissed

I bet the casual fans were pissed when he only played Heathen and Low at one of the shows!! :laugh: :laugh: They were probably like, wtf is this ****?!!?!?!? :laugh: I am seriously rolling just thinking about it!

Edit: I just had a thought after I posted this. How horrible would one feel the next day (after much sobering up) to know that the Stevie Nicks :eek: flipped you the bird at the Fleetwood Mac show that you were fan enough to pay money for and get right up front for?!?!? Mortified I tell you, MORTIFIED!!!! I think I would go hide out in a cave for the rest of my life to know that I pissed STEVIE NICKS off so badly that she gave me the bird! And not mention the stuff with Lindsey!! I'm sorry but this totally freaks me out to think about! :laugh:

I guess the reason why I went to multiple shows (three to be exact - spending approx $1500 between them) is probably the same reason why I see movies over and over again - If I really love it, I don't get bored.

Besides that, I wasn't around or was very young during most of the band's career and I never got the opportunity to see them on the Dance tour. There's no telling if they will ever tour again, so I figured I'd better see as much of them as I can while I still can. They're not the most prolific of artists and they're not getting any younger.

I noticed that someone uploaded it on EasyTree last night, so there should be tons of seeders if you want to grab it. :nod: It's the same show where he rips one of the security guards a new asshole during Man Who Sold the World and tells him to get out of his show. :laugh:

He opened with Speed of Life and there were quite a few people scratching their heads, but I think they either got used to the set or just sulked in disappointment by the time he reached Warszawa. :laugh: When he was done with both albums, he did some other ones like Hallo Spaceboy (which I *love* live and never get sick of) and Fashion. His sets are loooooooooooong.
