I agree. There really are only a few select songs that really get her going onstage these days. Say You Will certainly ain't one of 'em. ;) That suckers just as dull as Peacekeeper, if not more.

"Rhiannon" just plain stinks in these live versions from bootlegs. Just forget about the damn song... the studio version will always be far superior anyway.

I don't like how "Peackeeper" or "Say You Will" translate to the live scene. I'd replace them with "Thrown Down", "Steal Your Heart Away" or "Running Through The Garden".

"Oh Well"... now THAT should be something like a rule: you CAN'T have a Fleetwood Mac concert without "Oh Well", it's like their signature song; they've always done it. They're losing some of their identity by not performing it.

Forget about "What's The World Coming To", too... and that acoustic "Big Love". Oh, and "Gypsy" is always better in the studio, thank you very much.

Peacekeeper was made boring so Stevie could harmonize on it. The song in the original key and tempo was much more fun.

How do we know that changing "Peacekeeper" wasn't a decision Lindsey made, that had absolutely nothing to do with Stevie?

We all know how he works and works to perfect his songs... so he may not have been satisfied with the 'Gift Of Screws' version, and decided to re-work it.

If Lindsey so desired, they could very easily increase the tempo on-stage, and if he wanted to change the key, they could easily switch Stevie to the lower harmony.

We gotta get you past this "blame Stevie" mentality, buddy. :) :nod:

Besides, I didn't blame Stevie. My comment was silent as to who would have made the decision. You might be surprised to learn that I actually blame Lindsey for changing the song. I'm sure Stevie didn't go up to him and demand to harmonize on it and make him change keys.
