The first time I had been in L.A. in over 24 years (Oct. 4, 2010) it was raining cats and dogs and was all of 55 degrees.

...Back to the subject...
I have been thinking that since Stevie's current tour, getting her to the studio could be even more difficult.
Her tour is very positive for her, she is really enjoying playing her solo stuff and likes being her own woman.
Does this add up to her even more reticence to enter the studio with FMC ?.

of course. i really don't get while are people still so insistent on her having to join them, when she obviously has no interest in it and would just drag the album down. it is pretty clear that at this point album without Stevie is a win-win for both the music and quality of the album as well as for SN. so why are we still harping on this?

Exactly... It's good that her tour is fun for her.. So maybe we will get the album...

It's up to Mick to grow some ...

And I'm done blaming Stevie Nicks for this. She did her own thing.. that's great... now the other four have a name for themselves.. it's up to them to market it and do something with it.

Quality

Commenting on the quality of an album that may or may not exist in the future being brought down by a specific member could take this thread into rough waters. All of them have thrown clunkers out. The FM discography is riddled with cheese from all parties. No guarantee that songs like 'Carnival Begin' and whatever Lindsey has in the can are barn burners...

Had the same thought. As I think Stevie's solo efforts have tons of clunkers and bad singing. However, at least she's still putting it out. The other 4 have no excuse. PUt it out and let the fates have it as it were.

Yes. Now Christine and Lindsey in particular need to assert themselves as musicians and artists in their own right and move forward.
