It's a little like the clip she had on her 80s photos for her solo album.

I like it, and she looks great!

MichaelaM 09-16-2013 02:35 PM

Wow Chris looks better than Stevie!! Very healthy looking and fit! Can't decide if I'm digging Stevie's new boots or not!

michelej1 09-16-2013 02:55 PM

Whoa, cleavage time. Is that what 70 looks like?

i freaking love stevie's boots and i swear she has the most amazing skin.
chris looks a little too tan for me almost like she just had a spray tan.

Back off, Dave.

It reminds me of Chrissie on Three's Company.

This is great. She looks like she's ready to do the whole show business thing again. No, not forever, but at least for the next 2 weeks. Photos, interviews, performing. Then, maybe she'll go back to her cocoon again when it's all over, but it looks like she's all in for right now.

I like the tan, Chris looks healthy. I think we had an exceptionally hot, sunny summer here in the UK. What with that and her trip to Hawaii it's not surprising that she has maintained a good colour. She's quite outdoors-y, so it's entirely possible that it's natural.

I don't like Stevie's boots or the shades, but she does have beautiful skin.

sue 09-16-2013 04:44 PM

I'm loving Stevie and her boots she looks like the star that she is.......Chris looks great too but not as sparky as Stevie ....and Stevie's skin does look amazing

applebucked 09-16-2013 05:58 PM

They both look amazing. Good god.

Also, I love Chris' necklace. :D

bethelblues 09-16-2013 08:06 PM

Chris looks fantastic! It makes me so happy to see these photos. Thanks for finding them.

Stevie looks like she had a neck lift during the tour break in the big picture. LOL Her matter-of-fact attitude comes right out of that photo.

One question: Where is Lindsey? Doesn't he want to see the moovie?

having a life? maybe home with his kids before going away for some months again?

really happy to see Christine looking so great. was hoping to hear some short interview with her like that one with Mick too, but oh well.

bethelblues 09-16-2013 08:20 PM

I know I know. I was just being sarcastic. He probably knows better than to waste time watching Stevie's vanity project. Three of the five were there...that's what prompted the question.

I will say, it was wonderful to see Chris and Stevie together in a photo. When was the last time these two were photographed together??

It's pretty much looking like the last two nights in London per Mick after Stevie was a bit ambiguous the other day :

Fleetwood Mac have opened up about their upcoming reunion with former keyboardist Christine McVie at their upcoming London shows. Watch our video interview with Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood above.

The rock icons are currently on a critically acclaimed world tour that reaches the UK at the end of the month. Speaking to Gigwise at the London premiere of frontwoman Stevie Nicks' new movie documentary about her new solo album, In Your Dreams, we asked band members about the hotly-anticipated London shows where McVie has been confirmed to rejoin the band on stage.

"I think she's going to come and do the last two shows in London," said drummer Mick Fleetwood. "It's going to be great - Christine's music is so much part of Fleetwood Mac. She's been gone now for many, many years and she's like my sister.

"We're going to make her feel comfortable and have fun and I think people will love it. She's always honoured by the nature of her songs and the depth of that. When she decided to leave 14 or 16 years ago, we were sad and thought that maybe she'd come back, but she made that choice."

He continued: "A lot of people are saying 'is she going to come back?' and the answer to that is that she would be welcome, but that would be her choice. We will see. At some point we're going to knock it on the head, I'm not sure when, but in that context it would be something that would be entertained."

Frontwoman Stevie Nicks added: "She's coming to do two nights here and probably do 'Don't Stop'. I'm not sure, but she's coming to Dublin to rehearse whatever song she's going to do. We never wanted her to leave, so for us it's amazing that she is going to come."
I really can't wait for this. I'm up in the gods for Wednesday but in row P, section A2 for Friday. I really had given up on ever seeing them all together so am very happy. Here in the UK the five of them have only played together once since the Tusk tour.. it's been a long time.

So excited for all the buzz that comes from all this!!!

On another note, I keep getting distracted by the cleavage our Christine is sporting in some of the photos.

 My eyes went to her shoes. Toe cleavage! It's an easy guess as to which is more appealing.

Mine went both ways.

It looked like she just threw in whatever nice outfit she could find at home and went off.

exactly what i was thinking. she's definitely not the one to have taken photos / videos / check what looks good upfront.

SN meanwhile struck that typical red-carpet-i-know-what's-my-best-angle pose :)

I like that she has a standard uniform of fancy camis and jackets. She just needs her green cup from The Dance and it's like 1997 all over again.

And still found the time to grab the Wild Heart necklace. OR MAYBE SHE NEVER TAKES IT OFF.

This is why she'd fit right in on the tour. Everyone has uniforms there. Mick's and John's usuals, Lindsey's leather jacket, Stevie's dark colored dress + boots, and now Chris' cami + jacket + jeans.

And that's like the third time I saw that necklace. Maui, Ivors, and now this.

Also, I really think Stevie gave that to her.

Stevie Nicks 'thrilled' by Christine McVie Fleetwood Mac London return

Published Tuesday, Sep 17 2013, 7:11am EDT | By Kate Goodacre
for Digital Spy

Stevie Nicks has told Digital Spy that Fleetwood Mac are "thrilled" Christine McVie will rejoin the band for a special appearance in London.

McVie, who last performed with Fleetwood Mac in 1998, will rehearse with the band in Ireland this week. She is tipped to appear at two shows in the capital later this month.

Nicks told DS at the UK premiere of documentary Stevie Nicks: In Your Dreams that McVie had approached Fleetwood Mac about joining up with them again, explaining: "Well, she said she'd do it. She did not say she would do it on the last two tours.

"So, she offered and we were thrilled, and it's great to have her back and to do a song. She's been very, very missed, so even to have her back for a little while is going to be good.

"And it will be good to see her, I mean, we never see her, you know? We're all so far away. I mean, London to California is far. So it's really great that she's decided to hang out with us for a little bit."

McVie and Mick Fleetwood joined Nicks at the Curzon cinema in Mayfair on Monday night (September 16) for a screening of In Your Dreams, which was directed and produced by Nicks and Dave Stewart.

Nicks previously hinted that McVie may join up with the band for 'Don't Stop'.

Fleetwood Mac's European tour starts in Dublin this Friday (September 20).

Drummer Mick Fleetwood said: ''I think she's going to come and do the last two shows in London.

''It's going to be great - Christine's music is so much part of Fleetwood Mac. She's been gone now for many, many years and she's like my sister.

''We're going to make her feel comfortable and have fun and I think people will love it.''

Frontwoman Stevie Nicks claims perform keyboard player Christine will join them to perform her biggest charting single with the group, 'Don't Stop', with her at the show.

She told Gigwise.com: ''She's coming to do two nights here and will probably do 'Don't Stop'. I'm not sure, but she's coming to Dublin to rehearse whatever song she's going to do.

''We never wanted her to leave, so for us it's amazing that she is going to come.''

The band released the first album in 10 years, 'Extended Play', in April and will be wrapping up their world tour on December 7.

Wow...I thought Stevie looked great in the photos!
But she looks absolutely amazing in the video she looks so happy! !!!

Christine looked stunning and surprisingly at ease on the outside.....
Hope she's fairing as well on the inside.

I can't wait!!!! I'm counting the seconds until I see all five of them on stage together (don't tell anybody but I'm gonna find it via the bootleggers on Youtube;) ;/.....

applebucked 09-17-2013 11:06 PM

I'm sure she's glad to be out of her cave.

tango87 09-18-2013 07:42 AM

I have to say I'm feeling rather mixed emotions about this (as the Rolling Stones might say), especially after hearing Mick confirm that it will be the second two London shows, as I have a ticket for the first night, the 24th... I'm terribly excited at the prospect of Christine coming back, but I can't believe I'm going to miss her. I suppose I will just have to think of the greater good...

I keep reminding myself that when I booked it all those months ago, I only expected to see the four of them anyway, but really Christine, couldn't you squeeze in just one more show? Oh well...

ironman_01701 09-18-2013 07:55 AM

I hope they do a video

I wonder if the producers will provide a DVD video of the 5 of them for their fans (sure to sell)?

They would be dumb not to film this. With the special guest: Christine McVie.. It is a marketing tool all in it's own..

Hawkeye 09-18-2013 10:31 AM

Wow Christine looks awesome for 70. And stevie looks 10 years younger in all the pictures without the sunglasses. She looks incredible but only when we see her eyes.

And what's this one song bull****! I mean if she can make the effort to come on stage. at minimum TWO of her own songs are already in the set. If they're getting together to freaking rehearse then why not let chris sing on BOTH her songs? Don't get me wrong I'm great full for anything but it makes ZERO sense to have Chris come up and sing on just don't stop and let Stevie sing her part on world turning. Again details are coming from Stevie so she may be mistaken and she even admits to not knowing for sure so hopefully I'm right and Chris will be on more then one song.

Ideally say goodbye should be dropped for songbird or maybe they just do 24 songs that night but this scenario may be pushing it.
