I hate to be such a hardliner, but after the last debacle where Homer "accidentally" gave immunity to the wrong song and tried to change it.... it would open up a huge can of worms I'm not prepared to deal with if we allowed Marc to change his vote.

AMber, if I thought it wasn't fair, then I wouldn't rule that way. You're the one trying to change the rules for Marc.

I have made the decision I feel is the fair one because I am following the rule that states one cannot change the vote once it is cast. This rule is clearly laid out in the opening post of the game. If I were to change it for Marc, I could be accused of trying to manipulate the results. Therefore, my ruling stands regardless of any whining and temper tantrums that may result.

Interestingly, Marc himself seems to understand this. But thanks for your two cents, AMber.

Immunity for an entire round is not the same as one vote. and changing one vote is not even the same as changing a vote CAUSE YOU ACCIDENTALLY PICKED A SONG THAT WAS VOTED OUT ALREADY. In effect, his vote was not a vote at all. He might as well have left it blank, because it was impossible to vote for the song he put. It's not like he picked a song that was eligible, then changed it. But i see you will follow the RULE. This is how law and gov't become unfair, too :D

Marc isn't changing his vote, because his vote didn't exist. A song which has already been voted out, is the same as a vote not existing. I don't understand why the logic of THAT is escaping everyone. How can your vote be a vote if it was never eligible? It is the same as NOTHING. not eligible=nothing. get it? no, obviously not.
And yes, mein soda, I understand you won't be changing your ruling. logic escapes....and no one goes to search for it....

That's bad logic, my friend. And in that case, Irishgirl not posting her vote in the line is her own fault for not checking the RULES. How does his vote exist? What will it count toward? It only exists if it can be counted in this round as a vote, and it can't - because there is no such song from last round on out. I mean, obviously you're not going to see the logic in that, and this may be the last time i argue it with you (may :laugh: ) but it, to me, (and i've taken lots of logic/philosophy classes) just seems the height of obvious logic. Sorry :sorry: . I mean, you say he's changing it - from what, nothing to nothing? Cause in this round, WMYTYTO doesn't exist, therefore it is nothing. It's semantics, now, of course, because that particular infraction of a RULE is obviously being enforced with an iron fist - though other infractions are met with mere reminders...unfair, also, but...whatever, i just think it is unfair and illogical and so will speak up about it, no matter what anyone may say about whining.

About Tusk: As a song, it is the weakest one from lindsey on the album, imo.
It's sort of a non-song, but therefore it deserves ALOT of credit, being the flagship of what Lindsey wanted to state with this album towards audience industry, his own band, and maybe even himself. That one being the first single as follow-up of the biggest commercial succes in history, was more punk then punk itself.
