I agree, everyone looks so good. Also its the only cover since Buckingham/Nicks that Lindsey is on the cover. I think its the only Mac album that features Christine on the cover. Just more reasons to love that cover.
To even add to the mystery, Lindsey's face is sort of turned away. Its a photo that could be a painting. The album liner was a photo of the band that was painted over like a painting. I also love the dresses with musical notes on them. That would sound or look tacky or silly but it turned out so good. You have to look very hard to make them out.
I also think the Mirage tour had them looking their best. Getting older but showing such class to rock n roll.
The album look really fits the early 80's. We were over the crazy (anything goes) 1970's and the early 80's was a bit preppy before the big hair and glam of the late 80's. |
