Is he? :lol: That would make more sense. There's so much kiss and tell that could be done in rock and roll and you rarely hear any of it. I think that is a good policy, as much as I love hearing some of the details, it's just too much for those involved.

I do not think Dave is horrible looking either. Someone doesn't have to be gorgeous to be attractive.

Actually, in Petty's Runnin' Down A Dream documentary, Jimmy Iovine said that Dave Stewart wrote the music and he(Jimmy) wanted Stevie to write the lyrics to it and record it for one of her albums. She wouldn't or couldn't find the words, or wanted Tom petty to write the words. Petty wrote the lyrics, liked it, kept it, and it turned up on Southern Accents. It's such a good song!

I've always liked this video & the song. Musically, of course, it's unlike any other Heartbreakers recording -- which makes sense considering that the Englishman Dave Stewart composed it. I particularly love the rococo synthesizer riff, & I'd like to know whether Stewart or Benmont Tench composed it.

Indeed! Dave Stewart is an ass too for saying what he did. What purpose did that statement of his serve? To kiss Howard Stern's ass? How lame. I don't know how Stevie can forgive these guys and help them out and speak well of them. I think she should punch them both out.

Hey guys, take it easy on Joe Walsh! None of us know him personally. He seems like a pretty decent guy to me. All that trash talk about Stevie was done when he was having major problems and drunk 24/7.

Obviously, Stevie is cool with him now - how many interviews recently has she done gushing about him as the love of her life ? So I say, who are we to question her judgment in this matter? She knows more about Joe than any of us ever will.

Same for Don Henley. They are obviously very close nowadays. And why shouldn't they be close? Yeah, he blabbed about the abortion, but what else has he really done? I've never read him dissing her in any other article or interview - correct me if I'm wrong. Why judge him so harshly? You guys should've have seen how sweet he was with her at AHI 2005, when her father was so ill (he died a few days later). Don came down with her and stood by her when she did the meet'n'greet, even though he knew we were all there for Stevie. Stevie also says he comforted her when 9/11 occurred. He seems like a very good friend to her and I for one say, let's give the man some credit.

Often it's a matter of convenience. It's very reasonable for very famous people to co-mingle by virtue of the fact that typically normal situations to meet people are not available to them. They don't, and often can't operate in normal societal circles.
That said, I do have a friend who, years ago, hooked up (from online) with a Madonna's brother, and had no idea who he was at first! Granted, Madonna's brother is no Chris Nicks!!:]

Don and Stevie are very good friends...Totally agree.
I wonder if Lindsey was at her fathers funeral. He knew her father a long
time and according to Stevie he adored Lindsey....Just a thought...
