Time to get a fake ID just incase.
Yeah, I don't care for Lupo's. I know that I don't care for casinos but I was sort of hoping for Lincoln Park (It'a a video gaming and dog racing place)in Lincoln, RI or something. They have a nice club in there and I can see Lindsey playing there. I think that the shows are normally GA so that would be fine with me.

Which leads to the problematic application of the word "unplugged" in today's pop world: What exactly does it mean? It seems to have something to do with the use of acoustic guitars instead of electric guitars in the traditional pop-rock combo situation, but the exact meaning keeps shapeshifting. Let's remember that all sorts of instruments & equipment are plugged in regularly: amplifiers, monitors, FX pedals & devices, microphones & other recording equipment, etc.

My guess is that this is going to be very much like Soundstage, whatever level of "unplugged" you consider that to be.

I thought the same thing, seeing is believing & until I see it (the new CD) & see on Pollstar.com that there is an actual tour (short or otherwise), then I'll believe it. :D But I knew that Christy would be excited.

Lee :)

Thanks, I just threw it together. I really wish that we had some tour dates soon. I am getting nervous that the whole thing is just going to fall though.

according to one of my online trading buddies, who has a relative that works for Reprise Records, The album is dropping and tour dates are lining up....So there will be no "falling through" for LB.

i haven't seen anything about Under The Skin being "unplugged".
that definition got blurred in the 90's. i remember hearing people referring to the Dance as "unplugged".
an acoustic album from Lindsey Buckingham I'm sure will still sound pretty firey and loud.

I haven't even seen that yet. I'm really lagging!:sorry:

Peestie 08-09-2006 06:02 PM

I can't wait!! I really hope it doesn't fall through.
Hopefully it will all be all new material (or some GOS stuff), but an album of other songs that have been "Big Love-ized" could be cool as well, even if it isn't as exciting as all new material.

You should! It's quite good. I would be very excited if this is what he's gonna do on this tour.
