Plus lots of good old melodrama each week. . . .

And John Kinney used to get drunk & put wine bottles in his crotch! And we'd laugh & laugh & fall over & sing bird songs & swap photos of mammatus "mammary" clouds & then hop on the trolley to head downtown for a Swizzle Stik.

Actually, I was kind of quiet back then. I remember the Lindsey chats on The Penguin that used to be I think on Tuesday nights, too. I was quiet there, too.
I can't say that I miss that old WebTV however. I have more memories of trying to get on to those chat rooms then actually being there.

congrats

Happy Birthday to the best site around. IMO, this IS the best site with a wealth of information not available anywhere else. The money, time, energy and love you both have put into this site is incredible.

I think there are quite a few benefits of not being the offical site. The Fix had to change quite a bit after it went offical. Much more monitering! The NicksFix is a fantastic site with many, many priceless and rare tidbits. (journals) The "official" Mac site is pretty inactive now and is so lame when compared to this one. No one has ever put much time or effort into it. It is sort of amusing.

I found this place in the summer of 97, right before the tour started. I loved it then and I love it now. There have been some very interesting and heavy debates around the Ledge ...Summer/Fall 98? LOL

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE PENGUIN.
MUCH APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE TO MARTY AND LIS.

I couldn't agree with everyone more. Thanks Marty & Lis, though I didn't get online until the end of 2000, ever since then, you guys know I'd be lost without the Penguin. :)

Happy Birthday to the Penguin!!! :woohoo: Also, thanks, Marty and Lisa for giving me a site that helps me realize that my Fleetwood Mac obsession is normal. Eh, well, maybe not normal, but thanks for introducing me to other Fleetwood Mac fans, all of whom we consider to be normal....somewhat. :p

Keep up the great work! You are the OFFICIAL FLEETWOOD MAC website in my eyes and always will be!

Congratulations

Ah, the Penguin.
I believe I gushed over it when I met you guys last year (I hope I did!)
I learned everything Mac-related through the Blue Letter Archives.
I learned interesting behind the scenes facts through the lyric interpretations and the discographies.
I learned how wonderful and how insane internet folks are through the Ledge (and I'm not excluding myself here  ) Seriously, I've made friendships that have turned concert-going into mini-reunions and that would have never happened without the Ledge.
You really sacrificed a lot for this site and you should be terribly proud of this accomplishment.

You guys are writing such nice stuff. :xoxo: Regina- you were the lovely person that I said had eyes the exact same color as Chris McVie, right? All the folks we've had the opportunity to meet from the Ledge have always been so darn nice. it's always been a pleasure!!

That would be me (the eye color part~)
Now, that was the very first (and last) time anyone has ever said that to me!

Happy 10th Anniversary Penguin ... and thank you Marty and Lis, for having fed my obsession since March 1998.

For me, half the fun of concert-going has been meeting Ledgies from all over the place.

Thanks! :woohoo: My obsession is well-fed.
