I would agree that maybe LB's productions could have made some of her songs on that album better. And I would also agree w/ what John said about it in his Q&A, that maybe the other four could've 'helped out'. and yes, i guess I'm also biased; I always will prefer the 5 of them together as opposed to any other option! :)

She's also one of the most boring singers I've ever heard.

Stevie sings with ten times more passion and emotion. :p

I have to say Bekka had/has a TREMENDOUS voice and probably academically the best of the three. But, could she make you cry with her inflection of a lyric :shrug: I think perhaps in a rare instance, but not in the way CM could with Why and Songbird prior to her retirement and La Nicks could and still can with say BC on this last tour. But, Bekka has/had one hell of a voice to be sure.

Just a quick post from work.
I really hate to see this thread go down the road of Christine Bashing. Or seeing it become another "versus" thread.

My only objection to Tony's review was in relation to the derogatory comments regarding Stevie's weight.
As I said... voice, clothing choices, stage performances... those are all fair talking points. I just don't see why her weight needs to be mentioned.

I'd feel the same way if it were Christine being criticized for it. And whether we love one or the other, or both, I think we should ALL be appalled when a woman is demeaned because of her weight.

Now back to work I go.

She is amongst my favorite singers of all time. Her songs make me want to jump up and shout about how happy they make me. She is a rare and true talent.
