Not quite sure what you mean about the Gropenator/Giuliani comment. I don't understand why Democrats hate them. Those on the left are always complaining how radically right the Republicans have gone. Then the moderates get blasted too. You'd think Democrats would want more moderates in there. What gives?

Also, as far as calling me an apologist/enabler, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? I cannot remember a time when you criticized the Democratic party (except maybe Zell Miller) or Kerry. At least I have admitted there are wrongdoings in both parties.

And for the specifics, let's see. Clinton's been campaigning for Kerry. He supports the death penalty; Kerry does not. Clinton signed the DOMA into law, which Kerry voted against.

Who said you had to like Ahnuld or Rudy? My point was, I thought it would be a good thing to if you the Republicans had more moderates. If it's not, fine. I thought you might at least respect them for standing up to the religious right in the party.

I live in Ohio and we are in trouble! Many many jobs lost. It is very bad. Bush needs to go or we are in real trouble for four more years. The worst part is why many here agree we are in sad shape due to Bush's policies they are still going to vote for him. They say it the moral issues he states for even if the war and economy are bad and getting worst. Most see Bush as a savoir with the abortion issue but will stand by and let our soliders get killed every day and that is OK? I don't understand how?

"It should not be seen as a radical position." I thought the numbers would be much smaller than that. Maybe I'm not a radical liberal like dissention. :laugh: Aw.

But seriously, I see this as another reason to vote for John Kerry. I imagine he at least wouldn't support executing retarded people like Bush has.

I don't think it will be abolished soon, but if Kerry is elected, the issue might be on the frontburner again. We hadn't heard much about it in recent presidential campaigns because the candidates were generally in favor of it.

Now, now. Don't fret. Kerry is going to bring in Ohio for us, you just wait and see. ;)
