Well, many of these people did not and do not even know each other. In other words, it was not just the usual shippers. Other people who are not shippers saw this as well. I mean if it was one group, that would be one thing. But, the people who say they saw a baby do not really know each other. So, that is a little scary to me. Again, it could have been someone else's baby, etc. But, this many unrelated eyewitnesses is just too much for me personally to discount.

Exactly! I totaly agree.

If people say they saw a baby I have no reason not to believe them... just like I believe Farrah when she says saw the high five and smiles between Stevie and Lindsey....

EDIT: I meant to say the high five between Stevie and Kristen...

Please quote back to me where I called anyone a liar. I am merely suggesting that perhaps a handful of people who thought they saw something didn't really see it. There are plenty of instances of this kind of thing occurring. Surely you're familiar with the phenomenon.

"Liar" is not a term I throw around lightly. I am merely making a choice on whom to believe, considering the divergence in stories we've been getting on this incident: Cory Buckingham or a handful of neo-voyeurs who seem to live vicariously through Lindsey and Stevie. As the self-appointed jury here, my verdict is based on who I believe has the credibility.

Are we talking about the same group that has whipped itself up into believing that Lindsey is picking up women at bars when he's not running off the stage after the show to carry on his romance with Stevie, even though they usually stay at different hotels?

Somebody has to.

wondergirl9847 05-19-2004 01:44 PM

Lmao!!

Wait, did Kristen hold this baby, not carefully, mind you, over the edge of the stage to show the crowd?

No?

Then, it wasn't Blanket.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!

I hadn't heard that one. I did hear that the reason Kristen looked so "pissed" during the documentary was because Stevie wanted a baby and Lindsey suggested using Kristen's eggs. Not that is a f*cked up one, Pip. And the reason why I don't frequent many other forums.

wondergirl9847 05-19-2004 01:47 PM

I think it's just a nickname, but I don't remember hearing what the kid's real name was. He may not have said.

Those people are obviously confusing Chris Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. But, alas, since he's not with the Queen of velvet fountains and fairy farts, he must be demonized.

You may not have said "liar" but that's what you insinuated with your posts in this thread and many, many others. As far as Cory goes, yes, she is Lindsey's niece but she is also working for the band. All I am saying is that open your mind to the fact that she may have been told what to write in the tour diary, perhaps Lindsey & Kristen did not want it mentioned that the children were in Atlanta. I guess we've all forgotten the old tour diaries written when JToad was heading the fan club, it brings to mind the good old days of "Baghdad Bob." I know you think that the shippers are stupid idiots with nothing better to do than make up stories (you've definitely shown that through your endless feuds with posters on the BN board) but the fact is that that baby was in Atlanta and Stevie was feeling just fine last night in West Palm. I realize that not everyone subscribes to the belief that Lindsey and Stevie are having any sort of romantic liasons off stage, and that's perfectly fine you can believe what you want to believe. But at least have a little bit of respect for the grown women (and men) who do. There's no need to compare this situation to the Salem witch trials. I'm sure you were just saying that to be smart, but I am a 23 year old woman going back to college for the second time, a full time job, and stressful stuff going on in my life just as all of us do. Why in the hell would I go around posting on message boards posting crap about a rock band just to get people riled up? This is not part of some mass hallucination or some deluded shipper conspiracy. Please, give me a break!

To my knowledge, people who do not post on Nancy's board have reported seeing the baby as well. SO, even if you totally ignore everyone on Nancy's board and thus obviate the allegedly tainted shipper testimony, other non-biased eyewitnesses exist. That to me suggests there was something seen. But, others may differ and chose to discount all of the eyewitness testimony no matter how unrelated it is, etc.
