well there's a listen to be learned her kids, the emotions have a purpose it's to show what you're tone of your words are. So you guys should start to use them.

I use them almost all the time. I said that humour NOT ALWAYS have to be underlined with emotions.

Oh, and thanks for the lecture. I didn't know that about emoticons and tone of words. I always thought that they were alterego's for big rockstars who sign in under weird names to hear about our music-percepyion so they could learn from us.

Lux - take Hawkeye's advice! Emoticons are a marvel. Say, for instance, that you want to flame someone but don't want want bad karma or deletion. Then simply add one emoticon, simmer till brown, and dress your personal attack with lashings of good humour. Here's one we prepared earlier:
