I believe that, considering how after In Your Dreams and 24 Karat Gold Tour Stevie said she'd never do a hits tour again...what was 2018-19 tour... it was Unleashed and On With the Show yet again.

Now that Jazz Fest is cancelled, Stevie's ego should start getting comfortable with a smaller venue, or she may never be heard from again.

Like you? said, probably the MAJOR cities, but that's it. There's a huge difference in selling out an arena, and selling out a stadium.

And are we talking football or baseball stadiums? I think they could POSSIBLY sell out a football stadium in NY/NJ and Los Angeles. A limited baseball stadium tour (beyond NY/LA) a la Billy Joel is a possibility but the idea that they could do a tour with the number of shows like they did in 2014-15 or 2018-19 going around the USA selling out STADIUMS is as laughable as Stevie's crackpot dance.

I think you knocked that out of the park.

If she cared about FM's legacy, there would've been an FM album released in the years between 2004 and 2021.

The whole thing about her wanting to pay tribute to Peter Green, Bob Welch, and Danny Kirwan in the live shows was a load of s**t.

She wasn't even on stage for Tell Me All the Things You Do, Oh Well, Or Man of the World. And they picked the most radio played pre-Nicks FM songs. Hypnotized got dropped really quickly and wasn't even replaced.

I agree. When FM didn't have Lindsey and then lost Christine and Stevie Nicks they still relied on the tried and true and did no songs from pre 75 that were not Peter Green songs. With the amount of cover songs they have done on the tours where a key member was missing vs their own material one has to shake their head in disgust.

It's a little late to pretend to care about Bob Welch, Danny Kirwan etc when for over 40 years you've ignored their contributions in the live shows.

The Tom Petty tribute was a very tacky thing to do considering he had nothing to do with FM. If you really cared you would have paid tribute to your previous members especially the ones who have passed on. They deserved a video tribute more than Tom did.

Exactly. I mentioned this and so did others when their tour started. No dedication or acknowledgment of key former members while they dug up their songs to perform. Yet Tom Petty gets a giant tribute. Tell me its not Stevie Mac.

Given the heart surgery, the divorce, the public shaming (does she have shame?), and the money … I’d say it’s 50/50 we get a farewell tour with the five — all contingent on Stevie

I think that it's more likely that we'd get a The Dance 2, one final show with an accompanying album.

BigAl84 08-09-2021 10:53 AM

Although it would be scrubbed and dubbed beyond recognition, nobody needs a Dance II special. It would be such a big effort and it would be a giant repeat of what they've already done before.

The only really interesting and fun thing that should be/could be done is a second Buckingham McVie project. My optimism about that happening is increasingly fading by the day. I don't get the impression a whole lot of fences have been mended between those two, especially given that latest comment that Lindsey threw back at her "Sorry, I didn't defend you...I just bought a house"

She shouldn't be forgiven for being a sh*tty friend. I wouldn't forgive her.

It was in the Uncut Magazine interview from last month.

Oh, I know. I realize that. I don't expect them to do a final live show, it's just what I'd like to see. I'm in the camp that thinks they started getting less interesting in a live setting when they added the extra musicians and vocalists. I loved them in the 1970s when a live show was just the five of them with an extra guitarist on a song or two.

Christine in 2017: "Lindsey, you're the poet in my heart."

Christine in 2018: "I bought a house. Don't come by."

Oh, maybe they will need it themselves. But with those voices, specially in 2022 or 2023, i'd rather see you Milli Vanilli guys doing lip sync. Again, it would be embarrasing.
