Sanne, if you have any pics of Lindsey in just a Fruit of the Loom t-shirt and jeans, please post them. That's what he wore at the Rotterdam show of June 13 1980.

I only found one other pic from that concert:

I guess he preferred the white shirt over the black one:

Little did I know that FWM would be a part of the rest of my life. I remember going up to London for the day and it all seemed to big, and there was a massive anti nuclear demonstration going on in Oxford Street, it was so amazing. Then we went to Carnaby Street that was still quite hippyish. Then to Wembley, I don't remember if there was a support act and I can't find the tickets. Our seats were about 3/4 way down and we had a pretty good view. I was mesmorized throughout. Strangely enough I don't remember much about Lindsey - Christine and Stevie stayed in my memories (strange because at Say You Will it was def. Lindsey who made the concert special). My favourite song from the Mac at that time was Angel. The whole concert was brilliant and then at the end (worrying about getting the last train home) just walking out and Christine came on in the darkness and did Songbird - it was just fantastic. I feel very excited about i just thinking about it. Is there anyone else on here that went to that concert?:]
Anyway, thanks for the Thread and for all the memories.

You are very welcome!! This has been a lot of fun putting this Tour together and reading everyones memories and looking at all the rare photos. I also forgot to mention that the Live Rhiannon from June 22,1980 is so fantastic, it falls into the category of my top three live favorite Rhiannon's ever!!! (Is that what you want??)

I was at that concert but my memories of it are a bit vague. I remember the roadies moving the piano into place that Christine used for Not that Funny and Sarah and her giving them the "OK" sign when they got in the right place whilst taking a drink of something (champagne?)

I also remember there being a girl right at the front dressed as Stevie, complete with chiffon and Top Hat, and Stevie coming back onto the stage after the concert finished to let the girl choose which one of her (many) scarves she wanted.

I still have the ticket and I've attached a scan (if anyone's interested). I've still got the programme as well.

Thanks to GailH in Southampton for scanning the ticket. My memories are vague too but I do know they are good memories and I came away very happy. Nice to know there's someone else around here that went to the same concert.:wavey:

Although that shirt had a CAMP BEVERLY HILLS logo instead of a FRUIT OF THE LOOM one. These are all from the Bowl, you probably already know.

I never noticed in this pic that you can see Stevie in top hat just behind him -- the song must be GYOW with Ray:

In this one, you can see Stevie's arm & tambourine coming out of Lindsey's leg!

As with the SYW tour. I saw him in Illinois in a black shirt and then -- NGBA.

I would say he might get hotter in black, but for UTS, he stayed in black and had on a leather jacket for half the show.

Hey yes thanks - that's what I want!!!! Is there a link anywhere to this Live Rhiannon 22 June 1980? I would love to see it:lol:

Also too GailH who posted the ticket - I can't belive it was only £7.50 to see the Mac back then. Costs a bit more these days!!!

I remember that one. I think it's from a review in some magazine. Thanks for finding it. BTW, it wasn't black but dark blue.

Yep, in 1980 I think I paid $ 12.50, in 2004 exactly 10 times that amount. Those were the days :wavey:
