Well, they could levy fines at his trial(s) (both international and perhaps by Iraqi citizens if allowed) and if they can prove the American cash (which I think it is) was ill gotten (which it most certainly was at this point), I am pretty sure they can take it and use it for Iraq. So, hopefully Iraq will get his money one way or the other and rightly so IMO. Then, they can use it to pay off the Franch and Russians, who had no hope of repayment but for the U.S.' intervention and regime change ;) ;)

It's been reported that Hussein has prostate cancer, so if he dies, I'm not sure what happens with his money.

Well, I do not know Iraqi law, which would appear to prevail, but if he left a will, the money would go to the heirs. If not, then it would go to whomever the state designates as his heirs. Personally, I am sure the Iraqi people will have no problem taking SH's millions if not billions, that is if the Swiss banks will turn the money over a la the Jewish money they still have after the Nazi regime in Germany.

I doubt the Swiss are going to turn that money over anyone but the account holders. A lot of it is probably im the name of the wives and children.
