Hear Hilary Duff's cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Little Lies'

Hilary Duff covered the Fleetwood Mac’s classic song “Little Lies” in a minute-and-a-half promo video for the second season of her series Younger.

Rather than trying to replicate the exact arrangement of Christine McVie’s 1987 hit, Duff incorporated modern synths and echoing effects to create a hearty dance track. Throughout the video, shots of Duff singing the song in a recording studio are cut into scenes from Younger.

The song choice likely references the premise of the series, which involves a woman in her 40s lying that she’s in her 20s.

Younger returns Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 10 p.m. ET on TV Land.

Infallible pop queen Hilary Duff has covered a Fleetwood Mac classic for her new TV Land comedy Younger, and the catchy dance floor remix already has a new video.

The former Disney star gushed in an interview about her love for Fleetwood Mac, calling the quintet “seriously one of my favorite bands of all time.”

Covering one of their greatest hits was like a dream come true. “TV Land called me. And it’s like when the boss is calling you, and you’re like, ’What did I do now?'” she said with a laugh. “They were like, ’We want you to cover a song for the promos for the second season.’ And I’m like, ’Oh my God. Yes, of course, I would love to.'”

Hilary said the song will “fit very well with the show,” which also stars Broadway icon Sutton Foster. The Darren Star-created comedy focuses on Sutton’s character, Liza, faking her age to land her dream job.

I didn't think it was absolutely horrible.
I like the FM video, but the song is a bit
