Actually, I've always thought Chris referred to sex quite a bit in her songs. (Albeit probably not in the "erotic" way Stevie does.) Say You Love Me, You Make Lovin' Fun, Over My Head, etc. have sexual overtones. And "Oh Daddy," "Behind the Mask" and "Songbird" are not fluffy and you know it. :xoxo:

There are not a lot of votes for TEFM. For TAFE. I agree, it's unbelievable that such a beachboy-worthy hymn with great dark lyrics would be in danger in the second round. But thanks to people like you, who vote off the sheer brilliance in simplicity, SMAP, I am forced to vote strategically. Believe me, I had to devide my heart for it.

Seriously though, I love the song. But I can understand why people hate it so much and think it's crap. It can be very grating and monotonous. However I could say the same thing for "Storms". I barely used to be able to get through it in one listen because I felt it was SO repetitive and lackluster. All you Ledgies turned me onto it in the end, though.

The lyrics are fine, but it's the music I just can't stand. It sounds like a 45 RPM record played at 33 RPM speed! :lol: :lol: And that drum beat--ugh!

Storms is not my favorite song on Tusk, but some parts of that song just give me chills--"and not all the prayers in the world could save us".
