[QUOTE=goldie]My pick:

I love my Lindsey - but I hate showing pics of beard & kimono Lindsey. Ewww! Lindsey started to get hot for me in the Mirage era.

ooooohhhhhhhhhhh I agree, he was soooooooooo sexy in the Mirage vid, oozing so much sex appeal, I really love that era of Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey just looks so gorgeous, no wonder Stevie went crazy over him.

She stands pretty still, holding a flower, with hair hanging in her eyes and her eyelids drooping, singing without much oomph. This is not the same woman who raged through The Chain moments before.

That's because it's not my quote, it was originally posted by DarkLinenSuit (Jake) you could ask him why. I just replied to his quote.

I agree, not one of my favorites either.

How about the TITN DVD - all those edited shots, very cheesey, IMO. People would be laughing for sure.

Oh, and the Stevie Rolling Stone photo shoot video (I can hear it now - "why do you have THAT? You can barely hear anything!")

Little do they know that I need to have EVERYTHING Mac related, it doesn't matter HOW bad it is!

Is it the end of GDW or the end of Seven Wonders where Stevie sucks in her cheeks, pouts her lips, and turns away sort of slow motion with this "I'm-too-cool" expression on her face?

Lorriane, I know, I saw that after I posted. :)

And Jake...I just don't see see the droopy eyes  Guess, we'll have to agree to disagree. :)

And the TITN video - Paula, you are right. I would never show my friends that. Mainly for the dreadful red hat and outfit Stevie is wearing.

bikerchic 07-21-2004 04:34 PM

Paula.....I can't wait to see your collection!!! :blob2: :blob2: :blob2: :] :] :]

That's prob due to the fact that the songs were from different nights.

I think it was GDW, cause a month or so ago, I rented this video and was watching it (I hadn't seen it) and I'd had a couple, and I remember it was GDW that prompted me to write a review of the fade outs, stevie cheesy camera mugs, etc, that is the wonder of that video. And then I watched the credits and it was all "Stevie's shot director" or something, and I was like   she has her own director! Anyway, I posted that on Go Your Own Way. It was more detailed, i've forgotten some now - pretty funny though.

skcin 07-22-2004 10:47 PM

I have thought of yet another - the Edge of 17 demo with the girls singing "Hooooo" or "Coooo" or whatever the hell they're saying (I forgot which it is, haven't listened in a while, feel free to enlighten me.)

Paula

If I remember correctly, that tremendously un-PC Halloween pic of Chris (I think) in blackface as Mammy. Please tell me my memory is playing tricks on me.

I thought it was HYSTERICAL, esp. considering she is holding a cocktail and a cig. in it.

P.S. - I do not do PC very well and I LOVE Mammy. I fact, I have a fan with a picture of the face of Mammy on it   I say if Hattie was fine with it, so am I

Lindsey's woaaahhh ahhhhh wooooohaaaaaas that he screams in 'Not that Funny' always sort of embarased me. I think a good example of this can be seen in the 'Mirage' video but I think he also did it on the 'Live' album?
And of course, the whole vest-solo thing with Mick. Is there ANYONE here who doesn't use that as time for a pee-break? I have some old footage, it must be from 1976 or so, FM is at an outdoor venue- some sort of festival and they are ripping the heck out of 'World Turning', I love Stevie's 30 twirls or so and she didn't even get dizzy! As soon as Mick brings out the conga drum, I stop watching.

:raises hand: I like to see Mick in all his vestersize glory. Stevie and Liddy gets the whole show....I can stand there and watch Mick do his thing for 10 minutes. He deserves to be watched as well.

I LOVE Mick's solo this tour the one from the Tango video. But on the SYW tour it's truly amazing.

I know Hattie won the Oscar, but I honestly have no idea about how she felt about the role/stereotype.

I would only show them some of TITN here's why:
Family Man
When I See You Again
Welcome to the Room... Sara
You and I Pt.II

My framed picture of Stevie Nicks... (it was a gift from my friend)
How many copies of Rumours I have
Time
Behind the Mask
My Little Demon
Not sure if they'd be able to handle Stevie's famous performance of Rhiannon from 1976.

Oh-- MY LITTLE DEMON. so much cringe

A lady I work with said she watched a Stevie Concert on netflix and I was like "OH NO!!! NO! Live at Red Rocks??! Don't watch that!!" LOL I'm sure many people like that show but I am not one of them. She didn't like it either so I made sure she watched my "The Dance" and "Soundstage" DVDs to rectify the situation. They went over much better.

AncientQueen 02-23-2013 03:58 PM

Great thread, I LOLed.
Lindsey's Not that Funny and Big Love grunts - no way.
Silver Springs from The Dance, it makes me totally uncomfortable to share something that intimate with someone who simply wants to hear casual music.
I don't mind Mick at all, he is crazy and that is good.
Tango in the Nicght - the album sounds so dated, everyone would believe that I'm stuck in the 80s and to be honest - there are far better decades to be stuck in.

mitzo 02-23-2013 04:26 PM

Any live version of I'm So Afraid or Stand back.
