No way! You know how flamed I would get if I listed all 12 of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs… which just happened to be coincidentally Stevie songs?!? No thank you :laugh:

Besides, I really like looking at the lists to see how varied the opinions are.

I feel that way, too, about "Before the Beginning."

:]

Now you’re just trying to troll me! You know my top 12 Fleetwood Mac songs would HAVE to include Stand Back, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You, and When I See You Again (the Whassa Matter Baby Huh-Uh Ooh-Ooh Megamix)!

But yes, the Second Time would be #1, absolutely! When even casual fans think of Fleetwood Mac, it’s the Second Time that usually comes to mind.

Come on! Stop trying to hide who you are! You're $tevie's #1 fan!! We all know it. Show us your shrine! Twirl with your shawls, sister honey! :]

Any 12 songs of "the band." I interpret that as meaning Fleetwood Mac. We should have a separate list for solo bands. Stevie has great Mac songs and solo songs but I kept solo careers separate.

Nice song, not quite so bluesy but with deeply personal lyrics…

You have a point. But since BLY allowed us to choose any version of the band, choosing the Fleetwood Mac: Live in Boston version prevents me from putting this Stand Back version on a Stevie solo list. What can I do!!!

Though... I must admit the reason to include it was Taku Hirano.

Only 12?? With me?? Ohhh we'll see :(

- Sunny Side Of Heaven
- Caught In The Rain
- Hypnotized
- Monday Morning
- Brown Eyes
- Love In Store
- Can't Go Back
- Book Of Love
- Big Love
- Everywhere
- Hollywood (Another Kind Of Town)
- Sooner Or Later

It's probably my hardest selection this time!!

Christine McVie is Fleetwood Mac, ergo any solo song of hers is a Band tune.

Yup!
And guess what?…. just like those ‘strongest songwriter on each album’ votes where Christine was top or near the top on most albums, I bet in time when all these songs are counted up Christine ends up being the most represented….so long as I Know I’m Not Wrong is counted once ;)

FuzzyPlum 08-30-2023 05:32 PM

Nuts!!!!!
The problem with this sort of thing is you write a list and then almost immediately think of something you’d have wanted to include.
…..should have included The Purple Dancer. I could listen to that on repeat all day! Damn
