I find that unlike Dreams or Rhiannon, this song has remained fresh precisely because it does change every time, both with the Mac and in her solo shows. I know you think that the ending is a snooze fest, but I think the dramatic finale is the place where the variations matter most and I find them quite effective. Discovering what her adlibs will be this time around and exploring the new doors they open in meaning, the change in context and desire, is one of the highlights of the concert for me.

could be, i have to cede to your opinion there since i didn't really experience or saw it live that much.

the fact that GDW is a timeless rock song, much more so than Dreams or Rhiannon imo, may be a factor too?

I chose Sisters Of The Moon, Without You, and Sad Angel, because they were new to the stage for me. These were the stand out performances for me so far.
Sisters-- Kicks Ass



Without You- Beautiful, the joy, and smiles at the end are from the heart.



Sad Angel-- Not much of a visual, but I love the audio.

Replying back to elle and michele, my main point was that neither Gold Dust Woman or I'm So Afraid were singles and were in done on those first tours to fill out the setlist with Lindsey/Stevie songs. GDW and ISA became such concert staples often the best part of the show(both Mac and solo), that they have became as ingrained in our minds just as the actual hit singles, a al Rhiannon/Dreams and GYOW/Tusk have proven to be. I can't image a setlist without the hit singles, just as I can't imagine a setlist without GDW and ISA. Both songs are so much "more" live than they are on the studio recordings as Stevie and Lindsey's persona comes alive during those songs. :cool:

Although not a single, GDW got a lot of radio airplay and still does to this day. I just heard it last week. Even a casual fan who hasn't previously seen Fleetwood Mac in concert would recognize this one.

I have heard Gold Dust Woman on the radio too. In fact, the last time I heard it it caught me by surprise, since I'm not quite sure about the singles vs. deep cuts distinction and what can be played on radio. I think Christine probably gets the most play time, especially with Say You Love Me and You Make Loving Fun (then Stevie with Landslide, Dreams, and Gypsy; Lindsey with Go Your Own Way), but I have to say I've wanted to hear Songbird for a while. I'm surprised that one isn't a staple on Adult Contemporary stations.
