I'm probably the odd one here.I never get tired of FM/Stevie/Lindsey tunes.But now its the off season of touring here and I do slack off on playing them by going back to country tunes ,oldies and lite rock tunes.
now holiday tunes.Time to time I'll play them but not every minute of the day like in the mitz of their touring season.And I'll play them to reference of comments from this forum to see what the poster is talking about.

I think I get tired of a lot of songs after I wear them out by playing them over and over and over.....but all I do is not listen to them for about a month or so and then I can start obsessing over them again :thumbsup:

Well, I'm certainly not in the first flush of love with them, being a fan for over 30 years, and I still can't go more than a couple of days without them!!!

I can't go ONE day without Lindsey solo! :distress:

Another vote for Don't Stop. The only version I like anymore is the one from the Dance.

Weird, I think Don't Stop is one of the better choices to hear on the radio.

My vote goes to Dreams. Such a snoozefest.

Little Lies. The ugliest piece of "ironing underwear"-pop ever. That chorus drives me nuts. Only that song almost ruined my entire fandom.

I know what you mean. I like Little Lies and love to hear it, but that song has almost singlehandedly given Fleetwood Mac an unwarranted, elevator Muzak reputation that has plunged the band into the same public perception vortex as . . . Neil Sedaka.

I love that song! The fact that so many musicians have tried to cover it says something, too. For what it's worth, I've heard The Doors in elevators and department stores, too.

A couple people have dissed Everywhere and I can understand that a tad more. I think the Tango arrangement of it is too sugary and fluffy. I love the 1:30 demo that's floated around--A LOT.

It's the singsongy nature of the chorus that overshadows the verses and all people remember is "tell me lies tell me sweet little lies". It's like molasses.

But I like the song and I actually think it has complexity -- not just musical complexity, but lyrically, the message makes me ache a little and it touches me because of when it was released in the band's life. So, I would never trade Little Lies for Songbird or Oh Daddy in a million years. I'd toss both of them out to keep it and I don't tire of hearing it. But I think it kind of ruined FM's life on a surface level as being the first thing that detractors seize upon. Even more so than Don't Stop.

Notably, mostly Stevie Nicks songs! Kind of sad that, after several decades she hasn't found newer material to feature prominently in live in shows. Though, it was somewhat revelatory that she brought to life 'Beautiful Child' and 'Storms.'

If you reference other long-standing bands, you will see that in most cases, while they give credence to their past, they don't rely so heavily on it in live performances.
