Ok so completely forgot about this thread...but after hearing and downloading the album...I am completely obsessed. Frozen Love is amazing with all of its harmonies and Lindsey's phenomenal guitar playing. Also, I love this version of "Crystal" a lot...maybe even more than the one on the white album. And "Long Distance Winner" is my favorite song on the entire album...so beautiful. I also love the way Stevie's voice sounds on the album...very "organic" love it!! And Django is exquisite...beautiful song by Lindsey. And Stephanie is really beautiful...lovely acoustic guitar:nod:!!! All in all, I totally love this album :D!!!!

It would make me smile so hard if they would not only release this album on disc (having paid £100 for the vinyl and a further one hundred for the singles I'm wanting more!) but for them to also release the guitar sheet music! I am desperate for the full tabs and not just the intro...

What do you mean the "intro"?

Just making sure...you DO know that Lindsey didn't write "Django", right?

It was written by legendary jazz pianist John Lewis of the Modern Jazz Quartet.

Oh, here's the sheet music for it:

I mean the instrumental section before the singing begins, there's a tab for it you see but then they give only chords and lyrics...

I'm mainly a classical guitarist so adore playing Lindsey Buckingham pieces when my formal ones aren't appropriate but am truly awful at being able to transcribe them myself...

Oh I didn't realize you were talking about Long Distance Winner. The intro is pretty much just an instrumental version of a verse and chorus, except it's mainly arpeggios on the chorus. Just arpeggiate the chords and listen to the song for the song rhythm. Bridge could be a bit tricky, I'll have a look at it.

Looking back at my post I don't think I realised either - oops!
Ever do that, think of what you're wanting to type and only typing the last part of the sentence? I am beyond flakey sometimes!

Lindsey on potential BN reunion:

http://www.wmmr.com/music/news/story.aspx?ID=1457134

Although both Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham are busy with solo projects until Fleetwood Mac reconvenes sometime next year, Buckingham recently told us that he would be amenable to reuniting with Nicks as a revival of their pre-Fleetwood Mac incarnation as Buckingham Nicks: "I think there are things Stevie and I could do, if we could find the common ground to co-exist, y'know, which is probably more up to me than it is her. The Buckingham Nicks album, which has never been released on CD, y'know, who's to say that we couldn't go out and tour that, that would be an interesting concept."

"which is probably more up to me than it is her."

Fascinating that he takes the blame, since she's the one who pooh-poohs SYW.
