Highlights for me were Storms and Gold Dust Woman, Stevie's voice was fab.. Oh Well, GYOW, and Don't Stop were fun :D
Lindsey is incredible live! I played his guitar and got a high five! And got dripped on with Lindsey sweat.. which was nice....!
I thought it was hilarious when after the little story about Stevie being asked to be in the band with Lindsey she pretty much screamed 'YEEEAAAHHH! I can DO it!'.. haha..
I got a few good pictures which I'll post tomorrow :) I'm still on a high!:blob1:

Is lindsey still throwing his sweaty towel out to the crowd? I still have one from the last tour

Ive a load of pics and a few videos which I shall be sharing with you all tomorrow.
All in all a great night cried a little when that band took the stage.
and although Lindsey does not use a plectrum he sure hands them out at the end of the gig. and I got one. Its got a picture of a plectrum with a censor sign over it. and the words "LBTI" on the back.
was right under Stevie all night and got to touch Liddys guitar. Heaven. I also made John Mcvie crack a rare smile.

absolute great night and youll have a load of pics tomorrow i promise.

I'll have to try to get a plectrum for my daughter

Hope you didn't get too squashed when that woman behind you tried to reach Stevie towards the end and that your handbag has dried out.

My highlights were Oh Well, So Afraid and GYOW. Got to play Lindsey's guitar twice, got a high five at the end from him too. Oh Well just rocked.

I was a little disappointed at the energy of the crowd though. There was a little pocket of us under Stevie's microphone who were rocking out and a few under Lindsey's but apart from that it was pretty tame.

Comedy moment of the night was when someone asked Lindsey for a tissue which he'd used to wipe sweat off his brow. He laughed, made a yuck expression, and gave it to her.

I took 99 photos of which 51 came out half way decent. They aren't as good as the ones I took on the previous tour and very few of Lindsey came out right. You can see them here.

Did everyone stand?

These are fab. I like the one of Lindsey and the crowd!

Fleetwood Mac
by Mark on October 28, 2009

Last night I went to the MEN arena in Manchester to watch rock legends Fleetwood Mac. I’d never been into central Manchester before but the drive in and parking was pretty stress free. As ever, I’d arrived early so wandered around The Printworks looking for something to eat. I tried Wagamama’s first, then Tampopo and finally Pizza Express but there were ques for the tables at all of them so after trying and failing to get a beer due to there being no staff on in the bar I picked I strolled back to the Arena. The ticket was sent to me by email so I’d just printed it and carried it to the door where it was very quickly scanned and I was in the arena before I knew I’d arrived. After quick beer and a hotdog I made my way to my seat and waited for the show to begin.

The first couple of songs were a little rough at the edges, but the magic soon started to work and before long I was well into the music. Stevie Nicks was clearly showing signs of her age in her walk, being a little stiff around the hips but she was as “glam” as ever. Whatever posessed her to wear Doc Martin boots with her first two outfits I’ll never know, but once she swapped them out for a pair of strappy high heels she was a woman transformed. (Women take note: dressing like a bloke is no where near as cool as dressing like a woman!). I’d also say Stevie was a little reserved in her singing, rarely making attempts for the high notes that she was always so good at, but she was still working her magic on the crowd.

Mick Fleetwood was dressed, well a little wierd in knee high trousers, long socks and a pair of red slippers. Yes, well, less said the better! The star of the show, in addition to Stevie Nicks of course was Lindsey Buckingham on guitar and vocals. His guitar technique was bad with a collapsed right hand but he was making it sing like a pro, and it made me want to pick up one of my old guitars and have a go again.

Somehow, I found myself in a thai karoke bar after the show singing along to old classics. Eventually I collapsed back into bed at just after 2am. Tonight will be a quiet one.

I like Lindsey's blue shirt better than the red!

LOL I have one also...but it was the second one he used so it wasn't too sweaty!

awesome pics...love the one of lindsey and the audience...

I wonder if that's one of the shirts he wore in the picture with Kristen. He only has, like, 2 shirts. What I like about the red is that although Stevie is wearing a deeper color, it seems like he wore it to match her and Mick. So, I liked the group theme. I guess the idea was formed when Stevie was opening in that dress. John obviously excluded himself from the rose-toned coordination.
