Yokohama, Japan 2/3/1980 is a favorite of mine for the energy and the smalls ways she plays with phrasing.

I've yet to hear one that can top these three for me.

Another Detroit show that I've never heard  I didn't attend this one though but still........

Can you post them? I'd be forever grateful :) From what I've seen, you love Rhiannon as much as I do (which is a hard feat to accomplish, trust me) :)

What day will you be home?

I'm home now, but my other computer with all my files is still in Paris.... long story. I live in the Bay Area, had my laptop in Paris with me for two months and then forgot it when I flew to LA.... fail.

BUT I'm back in the bay and can download files. I'm just going to burn a data disk with everything I download from this computer so I can switch it over.

Therefore, fire away!

Paris.... Hmm... maybe you can help me

i have bought tix for FM at le zenith de paris oct 17, am not quite clear as to how seating works

one set of tix is in gradin G place 195,196 ... any idea where that is ???

the other set is for what i suppose is general admission - called parterre debout- how does this work ? first come first serve ( meaning closest to stage)

niether the venue nor ticket sellers have answered these ??

if you can, MERCI !!

Le parterre debout is the "upright floor". So I'm thinking its first come first serve since there is no assigned seating. So fight your way through! :)

As for the other tickets, I have no idea. I've never been to le Zenith because any musicians I want to see typically come to the US first and EVERYTHING American is more expensive in France, especially Paris. My cousin paid over $500 for an iPod touch... ridiculous. I would LOVE to fly out for the Paris show, though.... too bad that won't happen :(

I'm sorry I can't be of more help-- keep asking around though, and someone will help you out.

speaking of Rhiannon...

i'm listening to XMs Classic Vinyl station play the top 100 classic rock songs of all time.. "Rhiannon" is playing now.. they don't always say what number they are on.. but I think it's #49. (cough) I was hoping to hear some Fleetwood Mac on the heavy loaded with Stones and Beatles top 100countdown.

I've been enjoying these live Rhiannons.. very much.. thanks for sharing.

"dreams unwind.. love's a state a mind" song just finished and the dj said "Stevie Nicks" signing Rhiannon. dj also said the song was from Fleetwood Mac's 13th album..

now it's Pink Floyd..

recap:
# 47 - Rhiannon
# 25 - Go Your Own Way

ok... the top 100 classic rock songs of all time.. 2 from Fleetwood Mac..

music.. it's like the one thing you can depend on.... thank you fm....

I'm really glad "Rhiannon" was on the list. The fact that it made it just goes to show you that Stevie really did make a big impression on the industry-- to have such a poetic, ethereal and totally different song become a hit like it was is truly remarkable.

The Rhiannon from the Midnight Special as well as the one from Rosebud, along with the version from the Live CD, are my absolute favorites. Then again, I've yet to hear most of the different mp3's of Rhiannon posted in this thread, which is to say that I'm eagerly downloading them all! I'm bound to count some of those among my favorites as well. Thank you for sharing.
