I can respect your being a big fan and entitled to your own opinion, my fellow-CT rain-dweller. I disagree though :) I thought both the '97 & '03-04 tours were much better in that there was some new material, though to my taste, not the right new material performed on the SYW tour. I enjoyed the MoSun concert this spring, but I think it's an attitude of 'settling' and just being glad to see Fleetwood Mac do anything that lets them get away with performing material solely from '75 to '87 and really only "Big Love" represents '87, so for the most part, we have songs from '75 to '82 , which, to me, is unacceptable.

Well here's the thing, I'm looking at the tour for what it is, a hits tour. And as far as that goes it's fine. I'm not at all surprised that Stevie didn't doing any Mac songs beyond 1982, outside of "Seven Wonders" there's not much to really get into of her Mac output post "Mirage". I agree it could have been interesting to switch things up a bit, but Fleetwood Mac never switches it up live, why would they start now? The only time things change is when new members come along. The Unleashed tour was designed for the mass public, those who haven't bought a new Mac album since "Mirage". If it were up to me, yeah I would have thrown different things in there. Every song from "Rumours" has been done live except "I Don't Want To Know" what better tour to do this on? "Angel" hasn't been done in years, trade "Landslide" for it. Yeah, move "Dreams" to later in the set, why is it ALWAYS done within the first three or four songs?
I liked the tour for what it was. I don't expect any surprises from the Mac or Stevie, and I know of a lot of people who had never seen the Mac until this tour and they loved every second of it. At the end of the day isn't that what the band was looking for?

GRIPES will make a good album title - sort of a RUMOURS for the senior years.

I haven't the slightest, I thought it very strange, but just said "ok". She brought our group to the merch booth & I right away asked her about the tour books, and she pointed to the picture of the 4 of them from the SYW tour and said "see that's why they are using the picture from the last tour," which did make me wonder why they didn't use an updated picture from this tour? :shrug:

I didn't think to ask cory about tourbooks, I just figured they used the 'old' photos because they were either too lazy to do a photo shoot or just couldn't get everyone together but really, its not hard to show up somewhere for a few photos for a few photos....

1. The prices were outrageously expensive at Mohegan!
2. Security SUX at Mohegan, If they hadn't let that fat ass blonde bulldoze to the front (where I had waited for an hour before the band came on),,,,I would have gotten to shake Lindseys hand. Dream of life time totally lost!

I saw them twice and the bulldozer has convinced me --- stay home and get the free internet downloads music. I've spent hard earned money for 30 years without ever thinking of not buying it in a store , however....... Why go to a concert and spend all that time and money to have a drunk bitch with a pass allowed to physically start a potential riot? F THAT~!

I love tourbooks when they're done well. I remember looking through the OSOTM tourbook pre concert and I was completely mesmerized. Stevie's and the Mac's tourbooks of late have sucked. Really sucked. I never even saw the CV tourbook but I'm sure it sucked, too.

Yes I agree the Mohegan Sun Security sux.they always did.this time im shocked because they did not bust my stone about me taking photos all night.only one problem I had with the photos was a tall woman with a 1970s perm two rows ahead of me kept geting in my shots.

The Crystal Visions tour book was a new low. High School year books, as bad as they are, look better. Of course Priest of Nothing aka Chris Nicks was responsible for that. Overall, Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks haven't had a decent graphic design team in a long time. I feel they really don't care that much about that aspect of their released material, nor do they have the insight to see that the quality level is so low.

I've been recently mulling over the Enchanted box set. Chris Nicks was in charge of "art direction." Though it could have been really bad, it was passable at best, which is just about his best. In the hands of an inspirational, capable designer, it could have been so much better.

Being a huge collector of music media, as well as a former graphic designer, it is painfully obvious to me to see that the design standard of Fleetwood Mac related product is so sub par in comparison other bands of equal stature and even of those of lesser stature.

I was wondering if there was going to be a tourbook for this tour as well, when I asked the (merchandice asst?) why they were not selling one, I got the response that the band was spending more on damages and shipping? I think my biggest gripe was that the Sacremento show was canceled, thankfully they did Oakland and San Jose!

Doesnt anyone have a strong desire to hear a live version of 'Afairs of The Heart'????

Yes, and as a duet with LB. She could sing "One set of doors was the color of honey" he could sing "one set of doors was pink and grey" Then they both sing "I wonder which set is mine said she" and then she could sing "as she walked down the long hallway"

Affairs is a cool song that suffered from the Klonopin and the IMO lackluster production of BTM - it still shines a little though.
