It's not exactly a dedication song. But then, I guess Lindsey doesn't really have one. That's why Stevie is always throwing his family into her Landslide dedications for him, because he couldn't really go, "This song is dedicated to my dear Aunt Agatha: Think of me sweet darling everytime you don't come . . ."

And that's why he ended up dedicating 'What's the World Coming To' to Kristen. Awesome choice.

Every night, every day
In this house filled with shame
I can say I care
But there's no one there

There's no truth in my life
There's no light in my eyes
And it's all I guess
That I'll ever miss

He wants to for musical reasons or because he thinks the band's a cash cow? The band's a cash cow only when the zaftig Goddess of Steeds is in it -- that's one of those facts that stare one right in the face -- & she prefers her name above the title these days, so she does her Enchanted Crystal Visions In Shangri-La tours every year. I can't imagine her enjoying the sensation of having next-to-nothing to do onstage with fourteen grizzly ex-members of the band all jamming away on guitars.

I don't think they'd do huge venues with that band
Ya think?

Honestly, I just wanna see John McVie in concert a few more times.
It's kind of puzzling that John never seems to participate in Mick's side bands. We should have asked him about that back when he hung out here. Aren't they still buddies?

Man, if FM toured in 2008, I'd just lose it. It would be UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!! I hope they do it one more time.

Maybe December. Mick Fleetwood-John McVie-Bob Welch-Lindsey Buckingham.

Stevie would be in too, if Bob was added. Even in a more male evironment, this would bring a little more space between her and LB.
But to be honest, I don't mind if she doesn't turn back. Musically, she's over.

I thought her work on Say You Will and TISL comprised her best set of songs yet. Her voice has lost range, but none of its power within the range she sings--and she's getting more intense as a vocalist, I think.

Illume, Everybody Finds Out, and Destiny Rules are excellent.

Her TISL performance of Planets is amazing.

Especially the unedited version. Its a shame that wasn't the album version or put on Crystal Visions. Everytime I listen to that song, I have visions of an earlier Stevie in that bent over position pulling the mike low sneering away.

"and DOOOOONNNN'T condescend to me...."

"You WONT forget, you WONT forgot, you WONT forget...."

Defenitely the most intense vocal she's done in years, practically unknown.

I guess they should do a Pre-Rumours tour next year. It do great in the UK, but how would it do here?

I think Lindsey and Stevie should chill for 2008 and get out in 2009.

Let's look to a completely NEW Fleetwood Mac (of music veterans):

Mick Fleetwood-drums/percussion
John McVie-bass
Bob Welch-guitar/vocals
Martha Davis-vocals/rhythm guitar
(insert keyboard player of choice, here)

That would be an INCREDIBLE lineup.

That's what I was basically doing, too. Though, I picked Susanna Hoffs. Roger McGuinn made me want to play a Rickenbacker. Susuanna Hoffs made me want to BE a Rickenbacker.

The BN FM is not only the most enduring FM, it's the FM that sells - with or without Christine McVie. I doubt seriously that Mick and John are interested in putting together a different FM lineup or that any promoter would be interested in trying to sell tickets to a FM considering the previous post BN attempts. Money talks as they say.

Hopefully, we'll see FM action in '08, but I don't see Christine McVie coming out of her retirement even for studio work. I think she's done. I think Stevie's Christine talk is just that - talk - and she has her other reasons that will be ironed out - or she's just stirring something up for media purposes.

Basically, it does all boil down to what SnL want to do - Mick and John are at their mercy, ironic since it's their names on the checks. But, SnL will go another round if not this year then....listen to the wind blow...
