Which is exactly what they said about an Eagles reunion in about 1982 or so. Now, we can't get those bastards off the road.

Hey I'm down widdat set list, Gerald. I believe I could go for that. I think it works because there's no reason to hear anything they're currently doing ... again ... right?

cool. but not only that, david, I think it's a list that's coherent, well paced and would set them in a light that they neglected in their imageprofile during their existance. These are the songs that REALLY made me a fan. OK, I didn't include some of my fave songs, but I'd prefer this. All those great albumsongs are the real Mac.

Yis yis yis. I would lose all bladder control if I went to a show like this. The only thing I ask is that Not That Funny be replaced with Tango in the Night and That's Alright with either Thrown Down or Everybody Finds Out. Then I can die and go to heaven.

BTW, opening with I Don't Want To Know would bring people to tears, I'm sure. It's a surprise choice of a song EVERYBODY knows. Because everybody who sees a macshow knows rumours. It's a forgotten gem that will pull alot of emotion.

And I love that track.

And I love that track.

Besides, it's the only Rumours track that has never been performed live by Fleetwood Mac. Only Buckingham and Nicks did it in their earlier shows.

I understand your choices, but as you see I deliberately stayed away from Tango and SYW, because I want to see a FMshow fronted by B/N -only with songs from the time they REALLY worked together.

AND I MUST SEE NOT THAT FUNNY LIVE!

I know that was your intent, but really, the collaborating stopped after Buckingham Nicks. ;) After that it was more like 'Shoo, Stevie, let me do my thing and come back when I'm done. Bye now.'. Definitely when Tusk rolled around.

Anyway, we were talking about my dream setlist, and I want a little Tango and SYW, damnit.

Can you imagine a macshow starting with ONE single exploding beat on the snare drum and than those twopartharmonies kicking in immediately?

goosebumps.

Yes, but live it's kind of blah.

I was just about to come to Nijmegen and kick your ass for making me anticipate this. I have so many dreams and they keep killing them. :distress:

I agree with the others, it's a great list. Maybe consider sending your list in as a suggestion to the Q&A with John (http://www.fleetwoodmac.net/penguin/...ion/index.html), the Q&A with Lindsey ([email protected]) and the Q&A with Stevie ([email protected]) .

(August 30th, one more day until the Lindsey Q&A is posted????)
