To both of these comments I can only sigh, shake my head, and once again chalk it up to your bad taste in music. Sometimes you really disappoint me, Michael. For shame.

Here's a clue:

It's an inside joke between friends.

You are misinterpreting my words. I'm not forcing anything down Michael's throat.

And what happened to you having me on ignore? Just couldn't keep away, could you?

Don't worry about it dude - this is what we do. This is a typical Michael vs. Victoria conversation, believe me - I can handle my own :)

I do love it, which is exactly why I can't abide by your remark that the rest of Billy and Rick's offerings aren't "worth your time."

Seriously, how can anyone not love "When the Sun Goes Down"?

Vicky I think we've found something we agree on. I love 'When the Sun Goes Down'.

True - I forgot about that song. It is okay - doesn't overlly interest me, and I definately don't put "BTM" on to listen to it specifically. In fact, the only reason I would listen to it would be for Stevie's 'Take Good Care' line

I take it you don't like Billy and Rick then? They are ok. Granted, they are no LB but they do have some good songs and i like Billy Brunette's voice. With the backup of Christine and Stevie - they are great. But solo, no chance. Sorry.

BTM is a solid effort. Some songs are not as good as others (Stand on the Rock comes to mind) and then there are some that are really good (Skies The Limit, Affairs of the Heart) I am surprised that more people didn't buy it.

Matt

Neither do I. I put it on for "In the Back of My Mind," however - after I've listened to that song a million times - I simply cannot take it out of the player without at least one spin of "When the Sun Goes Down."

Actually, as much as I love Lindsey Buckingham, I find Burnette's lyrical and vocal talents to be superior. I also think that the majority of Burnette's solo efforts are amazing.

Its not that I dislike them - they just had big shoes to fill. They needed to come with something great. Songs like "In the Back of my Mind" certainly live up to expectations, but the rest of their additions to the album is a snorefest. I don't know wether that was Mick's idea or what - but either way, not all that great.

Yes, in the UK. It didn't chart in the US though. :( It was pretty surprising at the time that a new Fleetwood Mac album didn't even so much as crack the Top 200.
