......wear different or slightly different outfits on each night of the tour. A few different accessories or something would make it interesting! (What will be different tonight? What will they have on?) If you see them in the exact same thing everytime they're on TV or on stage, etc., it is really boring.

......Lindsey speak "Off the Cuff" on stage instead of repeating the same exact things at every stop on the tour. A little less philosophy, and a little more about what the song is about or how he came to write it.

......let other members of the band speak to the audience. Mix it up with each member saying something, especially John.

......release all of their previously released videos on DVD and put out some other material on DVD (interviews, live shows, outtakes, backstage/behind the scenes, rehearsals, etc. from years before the Say You Will era).
.......put together and release remastered bootlegs/outtakes from all eras besides the stuff we got with the remastered Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, and Tusk CD sets.

.......put out a d@mn, wall calendar EVERY YEAR, not just one year!

.......(as several people have said before me) inducted Bob Welch into the Roll 'N Roll Hall of Fame with them as a member of Fleetwood Mac. He was definitely a big part of the band for several years.

stop playing stand back and play some other solo stuff
stop playing the same songs over and over again

Play a song from Time (haha that will never happen)

as often as repeated here, i'm ashamed they did not include Bob Welch into the Hall of fame, that is seriously wrong and I hope they had a hard time looking in the mirror after that decision was made, no matter whose decision it was

I'll take that over her Tango tracks, dear. I can only imagine if What Has Rock & Roll Ever Done For You was on it. *shudder*

The only "problem" I have with "Welcome To The Room... Sara," is that, thematically, it doesn't fit the tone of the rest of the album. I quite like the song itself, but it would have been much better suited to one of Stevie's solo albums, IMO.

I love "Seven Wonders" and, of course, my love for "When I See You Again" knows no bounds... I think they fit the album perfectly, and I tend to feel that 12 songs of strictly Chris and Lindsey in that "glossy pop" style would've been a bit too much. Especially if "Ricky" (which I do love -- but I can see why it didn't make the cut) and "Special Kind Of Love" were included.

But, yes, I do see why many other fans hate Stevie's 'Tango' contributions. I also see why many people hate Lindsey's 'Tusk' contributions. Those particular songs can definitely be "jagged little pills," so to speak... especially in the context of a Fleetwood Mac album.

That goes for Tusk, Lindsey's solo stuff... all of it. He seems to overthink what should be natural and enjoyable at a certain point. It's like someone once said (forget who, sorry), "Stevie needed to smile more when she was singing the parts for SYW".

I don't think so. :) I redid Tango & burned a new CD. I took out the 3 Stevie songs & added "You And I, Part I", "Down Endless Street" & "Ricky". I just don't like her songs on the album although I love her & Lindsey's backing vocals on "Little Lies". A glossy pop album of 12 Buckingham/McVie songs sounds pretty darn good to me. :D I'm certainly glad they didn't do anything with "Special Kind Of Love". I think "What's Rock & Roll Ever Done For You" is awful. I think that song may be even worse than "When I See You Again" & "Welcome To The Room Sara...", if that's possible. ;)

I just think Stevie brings that album down a LOT. Everything is great until one of her doozies comes on and then I just can't get to the skip button fast enough. I can't even stand Seven Wonders, I think it's awful. Crap voice, crap lyrics. :laugh:

It's much stronger without her, in my opinion. I burned a copy without her and it's as smooth as butter. :nod:

That's exactly why it needed for thought and effort. :laugh: Nothing gels together, everything is just haphazardly thrown onto there. It's as if they had a bunch of songs, recorded them, and put them on an album. They had no regard for how it runs, no regard for theme, no ability to distinguish the good from the bad, and we just ended up with a behemoth of an album. If they had actually put some thought into it, it might have been one of their best records.

And I can imagine that could have been for GOS, too.

So I repeat, an almost live cut raw rock-album is what FM should have done. And it's not too late.

TITN? A perfect example of how everything went wrong in terms of musical vision.
