Will my lyrics foibles never end? Can you check for me? It really sounds like same, same, but of course you posted earlier that you know all the lyrics to every song, right? Dancing beauty? That doesn't make sense...Why would Stevie sing about a dancing beauty?

Well, I checked the lyrics on The Ledge & The Nicksfix & this line is not included. From what I remember from the video it looks like she's singing "dancing beauty" that one time near the end of the song.

I guess we can invite other posters to discuss what they think she's saying.

Say Goodbye would be the song I would choose if I had to. ;)

Hahaha well... hmm. I could honestly say I didn't realize that was the basis of the song but I don't think anyone would believe me enough to dig myself outta that hole :-D

In all SERIOUSNESS, though, it's mostly about the sound of the song and how it'd totally throw people off walking into a funeral home and hearing that song. Fun stuff, all my friends/family would get it. And by the way - Say Goodbye, nice choice! That was up there on my list too.

...I'm going to go listen to that again now...

No way! Two people only! But i figured you had the lyrics from the CD, but they're probably not on there either, if they're not on Ledge or Nicksfix, duh. Right? Damn her and her incomprehensibility! God, I'll just nevah have all the words, good thing It doesn't really matter while singing her songs...

Huh? I really can't figure that one out. Which part is about masturbation?

Vianna 08-02-2004 10:49 PM

Storms, definitely.

estranged4life 08-02-2004 11:19 PM

I would say...

"Storms" would be the only FM track played at my funeral...

I would like the last verse of "Storms" on a headstone as an epitaph, But if I get cremated that just ruins the whole @#$^&* thing

You're both right, I listened to it in the car on my way home tonight. Half my life I've heard it the other way, though, so I still prefer the imagined lyric. ;)

The song I demand to have played at my funeral is ASSHOLE by Dennis Leary but as far as a Mac song goes, I would love to know STORMS was making people cry, as it goes across the loud speaker as I make my way down the main street of Sydney with a hundred thousand people lining the streets for my state funeral...yeah I have high hopes...I wanna seriously be Australian President one day even though we dont have one now, I'm staunchly for an Australian head of state, and even though I'm young I keep myself very politically active :wavey: (Gee a hundred and two posts and it's probably the first thing you actually know about me  ). But yeh it would have to be STORMS.
