I'm not asking them to GIVE it to me. If I pay $45 for the Boston DVD/Destiny Rules package, I want to get some extras. Like others have said, I taped the DR special, and if the DVD is just what was broadcast, do I need to buy it?? No. But I probably will, because I'm obsessed.

Ummm.... that was me. I already posted in this thread and admitted I was wrong. And I am disappointed. But as I said in my post, I'm also happy to have SO MUCH stuff from my favorite band in the last few years, when I thought I'd never hear from them again.

By the way, I did ask HDReady about the specs of the disc. It is at least widescreen, as it was shot (but not enhanced for widescreen TVs) and it IS going to be Dolby Digital 5.1. I didn't ask who did the mix...

Carolina, I'll give you that. It is expensive. When special edition DVDs of movies packed with extras can be had for less than $10, my $51.90 should have bought more than it did (a documentary, a 3-hour concert, a live CD from the concert). I agree the argument can be made that it's not a lot of bang for your buck, but then, I AM getting exactly what I want... a document of this terrific tour and the making of a great album.

My major point here is that I'm happy to have anything at all from this line-up of the band. I went through half of high school and all of my college years basically without hearing from the band I grew up with (Stevie, Lindsey, Chris, John, Mick) and really believing that "The Dance" was a last hurrah. To have such a wealth of material (even though it takes some "wealth" to buy it) is wonderful.

June 15 can't come soon enough!

You're right. I'll try to be satisfied with what I'm getting.

Strange, but Amazon only shows one listing now. It's $28 and I can't tell if it's the one with the 2 dvds or the dvds and cd set. Anyone know?

Are any other sites selling both versions?

The Nicksfix is now only linking to the special version with the DR documentary and doesn't show the Amazon version at all.

Edited: CD Universe is selling the 3 disc set for $23.
