I have a feeling that Red Rum err Rover and Bleed To Love Her are going to be the ones with most votes against them. |
BTLH
I had no idea so many people so disliked Red Rover! It's my favorite Lindsey song, although I admit I had to warm up to it. |
Once again~~~since it still remains~~~I must say it is RED ROVER again that I want off.

Because it's going to win, I'm going with Bleed to Love Her. (the endless noodling at the end gets on my nerves.. its just too long.)
Hopefully next Come or Illume will go. I like Red Rover now- I hated it before. It really does take warming up to, but I love it now. I hope it stays! :distress: Sarah |
My vote (per Dance pronunciation): Bleeed... to Love Her

Yes ChilliD sorry to disappoint. You put a fair argument up for BLTH, but I just can't see what makes Lindsey unhappy with the Dance verison; especially when, as it is, IMO, the studio version is not necessarily better (and arguably not as good). Furthermore he obviously has this real love affair with the song, but yet take You Do Or You Don't, which shares the same bridge lyrics ... I've always rated that song way above BTLH. It's Lindsey's little pet project, and it had it's time. That's a whole other 'song space' that could have been used for god knows what other GOS delight. |
I have to vote for Bleed to Love Her, too--I just loved the version on The Dance, and LB didn't exactly do anything to improve it on SYW. I actually think the added studio touches on it ruins it, and his vocals on the bridge of The Dance version are so much stronger than on the SYW version....

BTLH.
I totally agree that the Dance version is better- nothing was improved. And yes, Lindsey's vocals on the bridge on the Dance version are much better than on SYW- he sounds so whiny on that one. How could anyone vote off Miranda? I just LOVE that song. It reminds me of older FM stuff- I could just picture Stevie and Lindsey doing that song on the Mirage video! Oh well, to each their own :) :wavey: adam :wavey: |

I so agree with you wondergirl :D Love and happiness from Sarah |
Yeah, I immediately thought of "The Shining" too when I heard Red Rover...
Red Rover goes...sorry y'all!! Bleed to Love Her may be old hat, but still IMO a pleasant song...Miranda I ASBOLUTELY love and I think it's the best song from Lindsey on this album...not just for it's sound, but for it's lyrics as well....I especially like the lyric..."Miranda is dying with all of her might"...Murrow is alright, but after a while the "chorus" just gets on my nerves....lyrically however it's brilliant (you'll come to find i'm big on lyrics!!)... Anywho, before I start to ramble here...my vote stands at Red Rover:cool: |
I wouldn't have cared about repetition if there was an improvement in "Bleed To Love Her" from the version on The Dance. But while that one is extremely beautiful, this one is even repetitive. I think it's far inferior to the one in The Dance.
So "Bleed To Love Her", out. Song of the moment - Say You Will |
BTLH
BTLH only because it seems like either Red Rover or Bleed to love Her is going. So I guess I would have to say BTLH because it is on the dance cd. I do like the studio version better though because Stevie's backing vocals are more evident. I really love RR so why does everyone hate this song? It makes me feel like I'm part of an alien invasion.

Well..."Silver Girl" was easy. I really love all the other songs on the album, and don't think I could part with any of them, not even "Red Rover."
But, if I have to pick, I guess I'll have to go with that one. |
