Wow, that's a massive fall for "Hold Me". "Gypsy" ended up reaching #12, which is surprisingly low. Granted, it held that spot for three consecutive weeks. Looking at what ranked above it, there were some heavy hitters: "Jack and Diane", "Who Can it Be Now", and "Up Where We Belong" traded spots at the summit, "I Keep Forgetting" held strong in the top five for several weeks, and "Eye of the Sky" by The Alan Parsons Project also occupied the region.

I think after 4 months, the radio stations and MTV were tired of playing Hold Me. They played the s*** out of it.

Yeah, he sang on "Psychobabble", which fared very modestly on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #57. Gantry also appeared on the opening track of their previous album, The Turn of a Friendly Card.

I LOVE the Mirage show when running back to the stage for the encore Chris is being ushered through the backstage tunnels and hands her glass of wine off to someone like she's done a million times :)

I think during the Dance escort for rehearsals, she hands someone her gum. :lol:

During the Dance, the wine glass was replaced by that green cup. I wonder what was in it. During her 1984 solo gig she paused on stage and said "this is thirsty work" and drank from a glass with a straw and said it was lemonade.

Thank for mention it. I had completely forgotten that scene. It's been a while since I have watched the whole show.

Its one of the coolest things I've seen a rocker do. She's almost like royalty. She did not guzzle it down in her dressing room. She kept it in her hand (possibly to get one last sip before the encore)to hand off while she is escorted back on stage. Its done with such finesse that you can tell she's done it hundreds of times.

I think for the gum thing, they were outside the sound stage and she hands it to Mick or someone next to Mick. Cant remember exactly. But, she's walking!!
