Loved Mac since '75, first knew about them in '73:)
saw them live 4 times and have all their albums on vinyl, Rumours was the very first cd I bought in 1983, when there were about 20 cds total available!
My top 5:
1. The '75 album
2. Then Play On
3. Mystery To Me
4. Bare Trees
5. Tusk, or Tango, or Mirage, or Future Games, or Penguin, or Rumours, or or or or or or :)

Welcome to the Ledge, lennonfan!

You're welcome. Great list you have there, by the way. I know it can be quite difficult to choose your favortie Mac albums, especially just 5.

"Tumours"? Best. Typo. Ever.

Not a typo. It was the greatest album ever, IMO, but also the album that killed creativity within the band (what 39yo teat are they still milking?).

And we still don't have a new album, yet they'll still milk another Tumours cash grab tour....

It's really difficult.

1) Rumours
2) The White Album
3) Tango in the Night
4) Tusk
5) Mirage - Stevie's songs save the album from last place. There's nothing else I remotely like on that album besides Wish You Were Here.
6) SYW. Had they cut the weakest five-six weakest songs and found a better producer something really good could have come from that album.

Fleetwood Mac (White Album)
Rumours
Mystery To Me
Bare Trees
Tusk

I'm curious, what five-six songs would you cut? I have roughly the same general opinion about that album, too many tracks and production that's more interesting intellectually than emotionally.
