You don't need a credit card to order from livenation.nl.

marc402 06-19-2009 03:27 AM

atleast the line is no longer busy and i'm on hold , never prayed this hard, and i'm not religious at all lol

marc402 06-19-2009 04:11 AM

Got them!!
first 20 minutes the line was busy, then i was on hold for another 8 minutes, and then i got trough , strangely enough i talked very calmly (while my nerves where eating me inside) i even got out my new phonenumber in one sentence, weird, Probably not gonna be in the front row as i'm going with my best friend there is no way i'm getting him to go that early, the upside is he has a car so the way back will be beter.
Been in a good mood lately but nothing beats this :-)
and thanx for the support Gerald and Dana! it is just a big thing, i mean am not on the ledge as much as you guys, still my favorite band and the first time i could see them in my country (became a fanatic in ''99 even though i already liked the music before but it became an explosion of interest 10 years ago (did have some stuff of theirs before that than going back to the age of 12 (turn 33 next month) )

Great, we'll see you there...I have taken both the 14th and the 15th off from work, I'll probably hitch-hike on the tourbus from Antwerp to Rotterdam (they surely will pass Dordrecht), get some sleep at home and be in front of the ahoy in time to get there upfront (never was a problem really overthere).

Don't think would recognize any of you there on the spot there i'm afraid :-(, but we all will be enjoying the great show), and upfront won't work i had the choice go alone or with my best mate, and when we saw the Who together we werent upfront either but still pretty close to the stage, when i saw the mac in Newcastle in 2003 i was i the front though so luckily i had that experience, only when Stevie was giving out hands i was distracted by lindsey who whas playing a great solo at the time lol.
Antwerp isn't in the cards for me (barely can afford this one , but would not have been able to live with myself otherwise) hehe.

SorcererJP 06-19-2009 07:40 AM

Wow, tickets go fast

Just logged in to see what would happen if I waited for buying tickets....

I noticed that only the € 59,00 price-range is left...ticktes go fast then...

SorcererJP 06-19-2009 09:10 AM

Sold OUT !

Unbelievable...and 5 years ago Mojo was afraid they would not sold out (was the rumour back then)...it's Sold out already !!!!!

Room for a second show ????????

Bumperke 06-19-2009 09:31 AM

I got 'm as well.
I don't get why the best seats were already sold out in less then 5 min after the opening. Now i'm somewere in the first row in the back.
Which means bad sight, bad sound, you're not able to choosein that F**cking Ahoy hole.
Live Nation is a bad way of selling tickets, i reward them with an Dutch zero ( which means sh*t.

Anyway, good to see them once more.

Will

I have never had this problem in Belgium. Always got my tickets from teleticketservice for concerts like Coldplay, Tina Turner, Metellica, Mark Knopfler, Pearl jam, The Eagles and ofcource FM. Last week it took me 1 our to get my tickets from teleticketservice!! Normal i had my tickets in 20 min.
In the Netherlands i had more problems to get my tickets because of problems with the server!!! So login on time to get your tickets. If i were you i would be online at 09:45 and start trying.......

I expirienced, last time ever (*^&%ghum/*)

Well Yes you are, Livia.

No, this is Rotterdam -until a few years ago the biggest harbor in the world. So there are some nautic references in that city........

danax6 06-19-2009 05:02 PM

So, the first sold out show in Europe. And they were afraid they Dutch didn't love them.

Who's laughing now, Mojo?

I actually think they could sell out another show if they didn't have Paris on the 17th. Maybe they're going to squeeze one in on the 16th, or does Stevie require a day off after two shows nowadays?

elni2710 06-20-2009 08:19 AM

Hi everybody,

My name is elni (lorette), 34 and I live in Amsterdam. I have been a long time Mac/Stevie fan. I saw them perform for the first time during the SYW tour in Oberhausen, Germany. That's where mydream became true!

Got my tickets for Ahoy as well, Also within 2 minutes! (General Admission Tickets)
I am so happy!!!!

Have a fantastic weekend everybody!

Greetings from sunny Amsterdam.

The dance 06-20-2009 09:52 AM

Okay, so Rotterdam is already sold out. That is fast!!! Normal you would think that a band would another show if the first concert is sold out this fast......
But with FM, well i don't know. What do you think?
Does anybody know how are the ticketsales going in other European countries???

yes. they will never do three shows in a row> so the only gap is between Berlin 19 and Glasgow 22. Or do they want to party and get spiked in Berlin?

SorcererJP 09-16-2009 09:07 AM

Extra tickets available

Just receive a tweet from Livenation.nl, that extra tickets are available at:

http://www.eventim.nl/cgi-bin/fleetwood-mac-kaarten-rotterdam.html?affiliate=lnl&fun=tdetailb&doc=evdetailb&key=250123$702961

It are tickets for € 59,00, in the very far corners of the venue I believe....

So, if you live in Holland and didn't get the tickets on time last june, this is your last chance to be there...

I'll be upfront ;-)

Amsterdam 09-25-2009 04:33 AM

Thanks for the tip about the extra tickets!! Made my friend very happy who was too late when they sold out for Ahoy in June.

Hope to be upfront too :woohoo:

The dance 09-25-2009 08:32 AM

I've seen that before. The concert was sold out in one day and than 1 month before the concert they come with tickets again but these are at, let just say, bad places. These are tickets for next to and behind the stage. So you can't see a lot and i wonder if the sound is good from that part of the venue. But if you want to go to FM than........ there are still some tickets!!!!!

Well atually I have seen a lot of messages by LiveNation lately announcing 'extra' tickets. It looks like common practice nowadays...create some demand by stating it's sold out and then come up with extra tickets.

What also can be the case is that Mojo/LiveNation.nl is very offensive regards scalpers and other ticketagencies. Somehow they find out which tickets are sold thru such an agency and they simply make them not valid anymore...so they can sell it again and make their own benefit twice...the customer is being rippe an will do no more business ever again with those agencies...

Alas, less the three weeks. For those of you with general admission floor tickets (the one an only correct way to enjoy a real rock concert), what time will you be laying in front of the Ahoy'???

danax6 09-28-2009 05:14 AM

We plan on arriving there around 1 in the afternoon. :)

Mmmm, I was thinking about 4pm/5pm, have to sleep out a little (driving home from Antwerp the night before), spent a little time with my kids etc. Keep my girl happy with my being around...my experience is that it's very easy to get upfront in Ahoy'....I'm alone, so that won't be a problem.

danax6 09-29-2009 05:44 PM

^^ It's pretty easy. I've never stood anywhere but up front at the Ahoy. But we booked a hotel in Antwerpen and we have to check out before noon. So that means we arrive in Rotterdam around 1 pm. We won't have anything better to do than stand in line. :p

I live in Dordrecht. Which is about 20km south of Rotterdam. Antwerp is approx 70 km south to Dordrecht. The venue is in the north of Antwerp, so one hour drive indeed.

Plenty do see and do in Rotterdam. Shopping, harbourtour (by boat), have lunch at the Euromast (A sight seeing tower), a few nice museums (Kunsthal, Boymans). The heart of Rotterdam is completely rebuild after the 1940 bombs and inferno. So plenty of nice architecture (if you like that).

Or stop by in Dordrecht. The oldest city in the part of The Netherlands we call Holland. The city where our state was founded. Lot's of monuments, pittoresque harbours and canals. And I do live there :-)

Antwerp is fun too. They have a very old Zoo next to the central railwaystation.
