Well, assuming the choice is hers. Recently, I read an interview by Tim McGraw complaining that his record company released some sort of Greatest Hits compilation, when he actually wanted to put out new studio material. He said he'd already had a couple of compilation releases shortly before this latest one and he was perplexed about them doing it again. So, was I. Especially since, unlike Macsters, McGraw can still sell records. He came out and said the record company was doing it against his will and I don't think most stars are in a position to be as candid.

I'm just rambling. I'm not exactly talking about Crystal Visions here, because just from Stevie's DVD commentary, I got the feeling that she was really having fun and pleased with CV.

True, McGraw was ticked off about the Greatest Hits thing and it just goes to show that despite how much money they make for a label, they still work for the label. That's why Toby Keith left his and formed his own. Back to Stevie - she's said how hard it is to do new songs live - it probably is a big ego buster to see your once adoring fans get up and go to the bathroom during a new song when back in the day they watched your every move...and I'm sure doing a greatest hits package is a lot less leg work for her.

So, no new album? I thought they were working on one! :mad::rolleyes:

They're just now starting to think about beginning to ponder the possibility of perhaps getting down to business in the sense of mulling it over -- on the assumption that it seems feasible to consider getting started on getting started.

Personally if they only want to play the hits why bother touring? If the economy is in bad shape most casual fans won't go and the die hard fans won't be doing lots of shows once they know it is the same setlist as before. If we get any bones at all I bet Sevenwonders and Not That Funny end up on the set and maybe one or two more. If the setlist is as long as the last tour they will have to fill it with something and I can't see them doing a bunch of stuff from Say You Will except perhaps the singles.

How about opening with a full band version of Big Love?

Acoustic section with Gypsy, Oh Daddy (which I think Stevie could sing very well) and Walk a thin line.

And a full on Frozen Love too!

Yeah, they HAVE to come to Europe! And they HAVE to come to Scandinavia and they HAVE to come to Sweden!!!!! I pray!!!

I think this is an excellent idea! I was very excited to hear Go Insane played with a full band this year...and Lindsey's band did not disappoint.

I do love the acoustic versions of both...but I would just like to hear Big Love played live once with a full band.
