Not quite -- I have an anxiety disorder with agoraphobic tendencies. So arena concerts and movie theatres aren't really my thing. But I go to work every day and I go other places -- all without the aid of medication. So I think I'm doing pretty good for myself.

My mother's been sick and is having surgery tomorrow... I haven't been able to hear a single thing out of my right ear for almost a week now... I'm cranky, and I'm tired but too keyed-up to fall asleep.
So I'm waving the white flag here, Dave. We may be two different kinds of people, but I still think we should be able to co-exist peacefully on a message board. Now I want to make this clear once and for all. I LOVE Stevie. I am a Fleetwood Macfan for 29 years now. I flew half over the world to see BN perform in FM, I never saw them before because my parents wouldn't let me go to the rotterdamshow in 1980. I was fourteen and deeply in love with Stevie.And I still am to a certain extend That was the last time BN played with FM in The Netherlands. . I saw mac in Tangotour, Masktour and Timetour. And Stevie-solo once around Mirror. For the Say you will-tour I travelled far. During those 29 years Lindsey became a hero for me because he "raised" my ears from strictly mainstream pop towards more freeminded rawedged music and iam very thankful for that.

Now this was a thread for a wishlist and I think I made an interesting one. Macs backcatalogue is huge and I made a choice. Not because I hate others but because I'd love to see this fourpiece band rock out the more masculine side of the band that is not always in focus by the Strictly-Stevielovers. Point.

exactly how hard can they rock? Mick sits behind a drum set and John isn't exactly animated...I guess I'd get bored, but that's just me.

and on top of it-you know it will probably never happen. That is the idea of the "wish list". You know that as long as Fleetwood Mac is performing, Stevie is more than likely going to be a member, so you are always going to get to hear her songs. It's fun to shake things up a bit and put a spin on them.

to add to this: I love stevie nicks and wouldn't want to go to a FM show without her. But that's just a personal choice.

It would be nice to hear Fleetwood Mac again without the "percussionist"--i.e., to hear "bare" Mick again, irrespective of how poor his timing has become.

His timing has always been poor, that's why he's so good.

The reason of my remark that these four guys had to figure out themselves how this setlist should sound had everything to do with your remarks about the keys on some songs. Maybe one of the guitarists could provide it themselves on those songs while the other does the guitarpart. Or leave them out and rearrange them more stripped down. I love bermuda triangle and Tango sucks, but I did not want to put in ISA, although I truly want to hear that guitarsolo again.:thumbsup:

Well, actually, that is a good point. I like to hear songs that suck. I would rather hear a song that sucks than a song that is really good. To me, really good songs don't belong in the concert stage.

I'm happy to say that everything went great for Mom today. She's tired, but otherwise she's doing really well. :)

As for my ear... I don't know what's wrong with it. I think it's actually my sinuses acting up and causing my ear to be congested. It's totally plugged -- can't hear anything out of it. Tomorrow will be a week of this... it's very nerve-wracking and annoying.

Oh well... into each life some rain must fall.

I liked your setlist for the most part... and, of course, being that this is a wishlist, you can include or not include whatever you choose. I just thought that, given your nods to Peter Green's tenure, the list would have been more well-rounded if it had also included a couple nods to the ladies of Fleetwood Mac, who have been every bit as important to the band's sound and legacy as the men.

A friend is having the same problem with her sinus acting up the last couple of days. I don't usually have an issue with that other then when I have a cold. I would imagine it is very irritating. Much like my bum leg these past weeks from that fall. A real pain in the ass...I can't imagine that in my head. I take that back...I have had swimmer's ear on occassion. But I just put in this special stuff for that and it is fine. If I recall correcting, it sucked. So...I feel for you. I hope you have some relief ASAP. You haven't gotten any water in your ear have you?
