Any of those "cool" "The-" bands of the 80s - The Pixies, The Pogues, The Psychedelic Furs, The (insert name here). I don't think anyone ever liked them; it was just cool to say you did.

I hope Paula doesn't have to sit next to him. :eek: I have heard interviews with him where he says skanky stuff, it's just not hot. I really cannot sing very well anymore and I can still sing much better than 90% of those people. Personally, give that there is SO much talent out there, I think the auditions are rigged to be chok full of no talents so America and others can watch people make fools of themselves :laugh:

I think people are comforted by people who are not too much more talented than they are, too. :)

Plus, I think most people - some WAY deep inside of them - would LOVE to be a singer :nod:

depending on the person asked - it is fortunate or unfortunate that I burst into song OFTEN and with little care or regard as to where I am and how appropriate a melody may be at that point in time :eek: :laugh:

yes, people would love to be singers...and i don't think it's way down deep inside. Heck, I sing, and i feel a twinge whenever someone loves my friend's songs! :laugh: (she is AFA, has THE VOICE, and writes songs with good lyrics, too!)
But, also, I think that most people do not know otherwise, depending on what they've been raised with...I think they think a lot of music is good that you or I may not think is good. :shrug:
