I've never thought that for a minute but if that's how it seem's, I believe it was completely unintentional. I think Lindsey was just putting on a extra good show for the taping (if your talking about LIB). Lindsey was just really rocken out, and really in the moment, how can you not be to that performance of Stand Back?

well, i was talking about the shows i saw, that's when i thought it. But, yeah, it was a "good show" by Lindsey. It just crossed my mind that it was a tad scene stealish. No harm, really. I mean, he was playing guitar for the song, so. I just thought that. especially since it's so much (literally) her song, and she herself puts on the most "action" (twirling, dancing) during that song than any other. :D

I am frickin' psychic. Before I read your post, I went "WTH are we supposed to watch, Taku playing? Lindsey brought the energy while Stevie was getting ready to kick a$$ on Stand Back. When she hit the stage, everyone stopped watching Lindsey do the guitar-bation and all eyes went to her. He didn't steal anything. If you listen to the SYW Stand Backs, you hear the audience go nutsos at a certain point in the song.....she's twirling.

bikerchic 01-15-2005 05:25 PM

What I take away from LIB SB is just watching Fleetwood Mac rocken out to a "Stevie" song. Watching Lindsey mouth "standback", "standback" is one of the greatest moments on LIB.

That would be the Madison show May 8th, 2004. He was really getting into it! I was kind of shocked myself. It really did seem a bit like porn. :o Hey, I am not complaining because it was my birthday and I was in front of him. ;)

Well, while I agree that some of the whole romantic thing might seem fake sometimes, I do believe that there is a spiritual connection. Those 2 are just connected and it shows. I have shown my concert photos to people who don’t know much about the band and they can pick up a vibe right from my photos of Stevie and Lindsey. They can tell that these 2 have a special kind of connection. That my friends cannot be faked it is real.

Now, as for people yelling another band members name out while another one is singing that is just plain rude and not cool at all. I have seen some pretty rude stuff at a few shows. Some people should just stay at home.

Not everyone goes to see the band for the same reasons. Some people really get into what shawl Stevie is wearing for what song. That is really not of any interest to me yet I love Stevie. Some people go just to ‘hear’ the music. That is fine but why pay over $100.00 to just listen when you can just listen to a CD?
Just because someone likes to see what shawl Stevie is wearing, or if Stevie and Lindsey are holding hands, or even getting to play Lindsey’s guitar does not make them any less of a fan. We are all fans and each of us is going to enjoy certain songs and certain aspects of the show that others might not. It is all good. :D

I for one feel that the whole band has a spiritual connection. That to me is one of the main reasons that I love this band so much. I just don’t feel that way with too many other bands. It is about more then just the music to me. :xoxo:

Well, as my very first post here, I will completely agree! Well said. You expressed my thoughts exactly. Especially your last paragraph.

I think that performance did sort of catch Lindsey by surprise-the emotion that was still there and connected with him.

It is by far the best performance of SS that I have seen her do.

There is something there between the two of them.

Kelly 01-18-2005 06:51 AM

Hey I liked the STand BAck antics....I said they were hot. However, when someone is playing a solo, be it Lindsey, Mick or Taku..it is common courtesy to watch. So you should be watching HIM not Lindsey...but to each his own. I prefer watching LB even when he is sitting on the side of the stage so who am I to complain. I was just saying if Stevie would have twirled during one of Lindsey's solos...it would be rude but Lindsey gyrating to Taku's solo is...well fine.
